“On the verge of death of a life unlived, Wyatt Heyll was given The Sorrowvirus by his parents, a substance that suspends the human soul in Purgatory after death; allowing them to heal due to Purgatory’s mysterious properties. As he ebbs, Wyatt’s only desire is to be free, forever.”

  1. It's quite a ride to figure out; narratively it's a very thrilling concept between time & space configurations! Great puzzles with variations too, adding some replayability. I'm glad to have contributed to it, with a localization translation.
For a small indie dev team, based in spain, with mostly self-taught devs, that must have it's own merit.

  2. Hi there! I'm the lead developer of this game, and I really appreciate the kind review! The PC version of the game is certainly the definitive edition of the game and, understandably, some adjustments were made to allow them to run on these consoles. I'm glad people can get the opportunity to get the game on consoles if they don't have a PC or a good enough PC to run the game, so props to EAS for doing the best they could with what they had, they were super nice people to work with. The primary issue I have with the ports at this time which should be fixed in an upcoming patch is the music. As you rightly mentioned, it loops one single track throughout the entire playthrough. We were saddened to find out about this two days before the digital release because the PC edition has a rich and stunning soundtrack composed and programmed by David Denyer, with each track catered for specific environments in the game, and we hope that update comes out as soon as possible so people can experience the game the way it was meant to sound.

  3. This isn't for me personally, if only because horror isn't usually my sort of vibe. But it seems like it'll be interesting for fans of horror games to get into, especially with the premise. It may have its issues, but it does have a lot of potential, and as always, I appreciate the review.

  4. The game looks interesting but judging by what you're telling me about the gameplay layers of fear definitely done a much better job at putting the player in the mind of someone who is literally going insane with the changing environments and the world just shifting around them and of course those creepy baby dolls
