Strong is a good song of hers, no place like home is a heartfelt one she wrote about her brother that passed away. She's got a lot of good ones

I've been a big fan of Christian music for many years and would be very interested in more reactions of artists and songs within the genre. The talent pool would likely surprise a new listener, and there is quite a variety – hip-hop to hard rock/heavy metal and everything in between. My favorites include Building 429, Third Day, Lincoln Brewster and Jeremy Camp. There are also quite a few rock and alt-rock bands who have crossover appeal within the genre, like Switchfoot and Needtobreathe. Their lyrics are typically less explicit in terms of Christian doctrine but are thought provoking and speak to the human condition. Switchfoot favorites include "Souvenirs," "Dark Horses" and "Dare You to Move."
With your taste toward hip-hop you really need to check out TobyMac if unfamiliar, for your own listening enjoyment if not for the channel. The "Eye On It" album is a good place to start.

I was going down the road one day slying through the radio stations and stopped at an amazing rock n roll song. Found out it was a christian station. There is some great christian songs out there that most well never hear.
I only clicked on this because i thought it was Ann Wilson of Heart but enjoyed her vocals.
