The Slashers Altered Anatomy Explored | Dead Space Remake Marker Lore Explained

Man I gotta tell ya, its good to be back on home turf! In the events in Dead Space and then the subsequent Remake, the Slashers got fairly beefed up. Their overall size appeared to increase which would indicate that not only was muscle mass increasing to a degree, but bone length and density as well. I mean compare Hammond to Chen during their encounter. But what causes their bodies to be able to pull this off and how does it work? lets discuss that in todays episode!

  1. Wait, I just thought of something.
If CEC wanted to bury the Red Marker forever, then why didn't they just nuke it?
The ship with the soldiers were ready to bomb the Ishimura with the Marker on board.

  2. i honestly wonder if some of the dev team watch your content or have a passing interest in microbiology, seems like they just made the new morphs for you, detailed feet and accurate bacterial biology

  3. I wish you covered the notable instability jitters you see in the slasher's legs. What are your words on that? I thought it was very interesting to incorporate that detail, despite the marker's seemingly full focus on "functional" mutations. (Expl: merged legs, extra toes, thicker bones….)

  4. Something I've always wondered about Necromorphs is can they swim? Cause when you think about they really are nothing but muscle and bone, fat seems nonexistent on their bodies.

  5. Watching this video is like that one scene from Ratatouille where the critic guy has the food and then experiences a nostalgic flashback LMAO. Love to see the return to Dead Space content Roanoke! Can't wait to see more my dude!

  6. I love how you're explaining this but I think the reasoning why some smarter people are able to withstand longer is much simpler.

It's about cosmic horror. The smarter ant is able to learn more before going insane than the dumber ones
