Two years after the original Baldur’s Gate in 1998, BioWare released its much lauded direct sequel in the year 2000. This is Beamdog’s 2013 remaster of that game. The adventures of the Bhaalspawn and Team Bald continue just shortly after the events of the previous game. The events within Shadows of Amn and its expansion Throne of Bhaal would come to be renowned as one of the greatest and most foundational roleplaying games of all time. This playthrough continues with the same character as was used in our BG1 and SoD playthroughs, and similarly begins using the “Core Rules” difficulty setting. Expect new videos on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Fun fact. The waitress in this inn is one of Haer'Dalis's ex-girlfriends. One of those conversations so obscure I really wonder how many players ever stumbled upon it.
Thank you for cleaning your inventory! The ale was something you could've given the kids back in Umar Hills when they asked you for ale and weapons. The red cloth you picked up in the Graveyard district. You need to talk to the grave keeper. He looks like a beggar, so you didn't think to talk to him when you first got the quest.
I've still yet to play a cleric all the way through Baldur's Gate, but the Cleric strongholds sound like a lot of fun and I keep meaning to eventually get around to it.
As I mentioned in some past comment, you end up part of the temple that matches your alignment: evil clerics worship Talos, good clerics worship Lathander and neutral clerics worship Helm. But what's entertaining, from my understanding, is that each temple apparently gives you the same stronghold quests, but with a different optimal solution depending on the alignment of the god you worship.
Example: A worshipper comes in and confesses they're having doubts about their faith.
Ideal solution for a cleric of Lathander (good)? Show her love and care and tell her that times will dispel her doubts.
Ideal solutoon for a cleric of Helm (neutral)? Reminder her of her duty to the church.
Ideal solution for a cleric of Talos (evil)? Kill the heretic!
