Religion of horror and terror. Sorry meant religion of peace
This event helped Putin solidified his grip on power in Russia, sadly.
Funny how many Ruskies are in the comments.
The amount of accurate data Mr whistler churns out, leads me to believe that he is no longer human, and that he has in fact fused with chatGPT at a biomechanical level, and now merely acts as wide bandwidth data conduit of interesting data for humanity…
Technically Russia killed the hostage
I have not listen yet, but I'm interested will he explain why such hurry to liberate? Because answer is Aslan Mashadov, legal president of Ichkeria said he would get the children released and was ready to arrive Beslan, so famous Russian opposition journalist Anna Politkovskaya to intermediate talks. Politkovskaya was poisoned on plane fight to unconscious (drunk tea). That children will liberated by Putin's and Kadirov's personal enemy, Western-oriented "underground president" Mashadov was absolutely inadmissible for Putin, that would be colossal rating loss. So Putin decided to prevent such scenario and hurriedly gave order quickly make a storm using all military arsenal they had, using tanks, attack-helicopters and thermobaric weapons. Afterward appeared that most children got killed by "liberators". Putin's face was "saved".
This western shill is portraying terrorists as badasses, it would be hilarious if it not for the hundreds of people who lost their lives due to the terrorist's actions. Morality and the west dont go hand in hand, they have showed it multiple times. Sadly, most voters are utterly moronic and very easy to persuade.
Love the ikea cacti in the background- great video, awful and completely avoidable tragedy
My heart goes out to Shamil and his rebels, fighting oppression, even though their methods may not have been very nice
Why do so many Muslims get their "peaceful" religion so wrong, and awyays in the same way?
Subtlety has never been a Russian strong suit. It was down to luck that more children weren't killed. What kind of monsters could do this to this many children? Whatever grievances they had with the government could never justify something like this.
Just like the Moscow theater incident before it, Russia sent in what they call their 'Zombie Squad. I'm completely serious!! This particular unit is somewhat like the American equivalent called Delta-Force. Except for 1 thing. The A-1 Zombie squad is to kill all those responsible & civilians in the way are collateral damage. They know, when they're sent in, they won't have to answer to anyone afterwards. Not to their govt, state assembly, Putin himself or relatives of the hostages they kill while doing their job. Nor does anybody know whom they are individually. Not friends, family, not even their wives!! Only a small circle of people at the top of the military. When sent out there can & will be NO peaceful resolution. They don't hang around the front of the building, waiting for a call. That would risk their anonymity. They speak ONLY to their commanders & each other….why else would these terrorist acts always leave so many innocent people dead?? Now you know.
The Russian Military showing they have such great respect for civilian lives.
If Trump gets re elected, he will try something like this to seize absolute power.
Ummm so why did you edit in a WWII vintage Panzer II complete with Balkenkreuz @ 08:12 when you mention tanks ?
For all the nationalistic chest pumping Russia and its online simps do in talking about how proud and patriotic a people they are the Russian state throws the lives of these people they supposedly love away so casually.
This is so horrible, feels like it should be on casual not here.
All this done in the name of Islam ☪️…
Something not mentioned is the rape of the girls by the hostage takers
A Russian WACO….
Your reporting is awesome. Keep it up for us. You are not biased. You report FACTS (something that is missing)
I don't understand how the Russian people accept those kinds of losses and rise up to stop that kind of waste, our own public wouldn't stand for that kind of thing being done to our worst enemy, that kind of reckless disregard for human life is unacceptable to the Western public! I don't believe any Western leader would have signed off on allowing or helping that to happen, how would that benefit anyone in the West, but it does bear the hallmarks of Russian incompetence and general disregard for life at best and straight up collusion at worst!
I'm sorry if not negotiating with terrorists seems barbaric to you
Russian authorities weren't concerned with the lives of hostages, just with the challenge to their power. Thus it has always been.
The whole thing lasted 3 days and dehydration was an issue, so much so that people were drinking urine? Baslan has an average high of 74 in September and 83 in August. I wonder why hydration was so prevalent.
My comment keeps disappearing.
And Russians continue to pretend like their government cares about them…
jesus, so much more than what ibsaw on tv ornin documentaries inwatched growing up… i remember parenta and military and police taking kids out of the windows… and terrorists were seen tossing children oit of one side as parents stood on the other…
that where many storie and videos ended at the time i looked into it… so, that explains why bullets were going through the buildings and not blowing up the building… it was friendly fire… 🥺
To be somewhat fair to the FSB, the western standard is the second hostages die the situation is going to end violently. So the Russians gave it a lot longer for a peaceful resolution than most places would have. They just, in typical Russian fashion, completely bungled the execution of the raid.
It is very much contested as to who started the firefight what are you talking about? Disturban even said in his video that it’s unclear who did it but just before negotiators would arrive on scene the roof of the gymnasium would explode, it’s not known if Russian forces shot a terrorist that was standing on a deadman switch, if a terrorist accidentally or intentionally set off an explosion, but once the explosion occurred Russian forces began to assault the school, chill out on your anti Russian hardline dude, Russia handled this situation incredibly bad but saying things like “it’s incontrovertible that blame for this ending in bloodshed instead of peaceful negotiations lays at Russias feet,”
Without mentioning most of the soldiers didn’t even have body armor and when hostages began running from the building with terrorists shooting at them while they fled, the Russian soldiers (who apparently knew this was going to happen because they chose to assault according to Simon) began running towards the children and attempting to use their own bodies to shield the children from bullets. And if this was an ordered assault, it would have come over the radio correct? Which would have meant that every soldier with a radio would’ve heard the command, but none of them have ever said “yes we were ordered to assault the school by commander blah-blah?
Also, you didn’t mention the armed civilians that showed up at the school, one of which we know was shot by Russian forces by mistake! Is it conceivable that one of the civilians took a shot at a terrorist starting this terrible violence?
Something else you didn’t mention is the fact that some of the terrorists we’re wearing self destructing vests, and when you said that they rounded up the strongest men, they thought could be a problem and killed them with explosives, neglected to mention the fact that it was two women wearing suicide vests that blew themselves up in order to kill those men. That act alone demonstrates the terrorists complete disregard for any sanctity of life so I find it really difficult to think that the Russians just decided we’re just gonna go in with no body armor, and hope for the best is terrorist or sleep deprived some on drugs and were becoming steal in Simon’s own words while also standing on switches that would explode if they moved or died, and the firefight started after an explosion Gee I wonder what happened….
pathetic…
Yo this vocal audio just got studio quality.
I remember this well. A reporter was talking to a parent who was saying they were apprehensive about the special forces being there, at that point you could here the explosions starting.
Incompetent criminals, the Russians that is.
What a horrible incident
Religion of peace
please turn down/off the music
Russian war blogger tell u this bs and Russia winning in Ukraine 😂😂😂😂
This guy is such a shill and propaganda state actor now. Like imagine creating a youtube channel and history and then selling out to the government. The way he shills at the end and tries to demonize the russian troops (and Im not defending them or anyone) but it's just so obvious that this channel and simon are government/state media funded rhetoric mixed in with his youtube content
i am always amused when somebody paints Beslan tragedy as a sign of inhumanity of russian antiterror troops even though there was an actual case of hostage crisis being solved without any regard for human live (Pervomaiskoe hostage crisis, russian troops shelled a settlement despite knowing that hostages were there).
Muslims causing problems again
I was in middle school when this happened
And this same place is being used by him as justification for war against Ukraine…
Russia’s motto throughout history: “and then it got worse.”
It's almost obvious that it was a deepstate attack. Russia does not care about its people.
Words cannot describe the sheer incompetence and chaos of the situation. If you dare to go and look for footage you see the real situation. The military and police cordons were very flimsy with locals armed with guns (probably former military personnel, reservists or on leave) joining with the special police units and military contingent. They weren't receiving orders and sporadic firefights erupted with the biggest one right after the explosion allegedly attributed to the russian army shooting directly at the gymnasium. burned victims, some naked, ran around the compound trying to flee the scene as multiple firefights erupted. The armed locals can be seen shooting randomly at the side of military personnel. The military tried to reach the gymnasium with medical personnel in their APCs but were stopped short because of the firefights. Ambulances were present and constantly coming and going with victims but they were insufficient in number, hence the need for random civilians or militaries to use their own cars. Bodies of deceased victims can be seen lying all around. In the back of the compound Aushev had previously filmed a pile of male victims killed selectively by the terrorists. It was a nightmare scenario, horrible and violent. All in all it was sheer chaos and incompetence from the authorities what led to such a disastrous outcome. I hope at least some of the victims have found some way to deal with what they went through.
