I grabbed the 51 hour lovecraft collection on audible cause i havent read through his stuff since about 2003-2005. This is awesome.

Chapter one, black mold
I think this is why people like me like SCPs so much. A short story about some, at first, unknowable thing that slowly the reader learns about, but never fully grasps the things place. It's better this way because then, if you know how everything truly works, there's no room for the weird and fantastical. Everything has to fit into the cannon. Where as the Lovecraft mythos is supposed to be unknowable. You can always mix in real mythology (rougarou) or make it up like the writers who expanded Lovecraft's universe. Anyways, thanks as always Exploring!
