There are two types of consciousness: Soul based conciseness vs Animal based consciousness. consciousness by itself is an innate idea and for any conciseness to exist there must already be consciousness (Allah the most exalted) to begin with because physical matter(atoms) does not just randomly transform into thinking human. Thoughts are a distinct quality compared to mere carbon skeleton(How does the carbon skeleton acquire the process of thinking when thinking and carbon skeleton are distinct entities with atoms having no characteristic of life and yet atoms have miraculously gained life). Wire like neuronal structures that conduct electricity via ions/neurotransmitters in the CNS/PNS possess no attribute of thinking/life and yet that has “randomly” led to life. Heart is a faculty of cognition that all major scriptures (especially Quran) talk about which houses the soul. if the faculty of heart is impaired human being is blind to realities of God therefore descends to the level of lower than animals. you have somebody like Adolf Hitler whose brain is very sharp (able to efficiently process empirical data and make associations between it) but his heart(soul) is impaired therefore cannot process any spiritual data which is based on mercy and love and is purely driven by ego based consciousness rather than Heart(soul) based consciousness. Consciousness can never be proven via empiricism/deduction. It can only be experienced henceforth Descartes said ” Ergo Cogito Sum”.

  18. Awesome content and context video. I only hope that for the sake of earth the Amazon and its basin…that it is able to somehow survive indigenous peoples trying to make a living(no blaming here)between the encroachment of the new world and their existence in the old.

  34. True story, when I was 11 my family took me on a trip to the Amazon. We were almost killed by a gigantic electric eel but thankfully that guy saved us. I took the gland out of the back of its neck and ate it, now I shoot lightning out of my eyes.

  40. Curiously, the guy forgot to mention that Colombia, too has quite a good chunk of the Amazon forest.
    If you go to the Colombian city of Leticia (capital of the Amazonas department), you can enter Brazil by just crossing the road you’re in. And if you get into a boat, by crossing the river you’re in Peru.
    Now, it must be said that whilst the walking can be done at anytime, the river crossing can only be done during the day, never at night as there’s way too much contraband going on.
    Nevertheless, it’s one incredible place to be.
