The secret heavy missile behind Ukraine's counter-offensive | Michael Clarke

“There may come a politically sensitive moment when we admit that we are supplying Ukraine with these missiles, because the Russians will say it’s a gross escalation. Well, it isn’t.”

The US could be secretly giving Ukraine heavy long range ATACMS missiles, says Defence Analyst Michael Clarke on #TimesRadio .

  1. If we continue to believe that Russia will not retaliate against Britain you are as insane as Biden ,I think about my family and the world and don’t want to see more people dying, because of idiots

  2. "Take the crisis into a different area" so we could quite easily find ourselves in a nuclear exchange due to a missile going off course and landing in Russian territory. It's all getting a bit close to the bone now i think..

  3. I'm curious who's satellites being used to coordinate those drones. Can somebody figure out how to hack the communication with the satellites and send them back to the Ruzzis?

  4. I think it’s crazy to concede that offensive moves against Russia aren’t allowed… Russia is invading a country and murdering civilians…. There’s no reason Ukraine wouldn’t be justified in responding in kind… why should Russians in Moscow be immune to the destruction and loss of life that Ukrainians in Kyiv are experiencing… because Putin might use a nuke? Explain to me why the threat of essentially using a nuke on his own country is worse than years of destroying Ukraine slowly??? The west has allowed him to use this suicide threat for decades… less people will die if we call his bluff…. And if he actually orders a nuke strike and some idiot is dumb enough to follow through with it… the west could destroy him in a night…..

  5. If someone went into NY City, or London, or Berlin, and randomly killed 10 innocent bystanders who did absolutely NOTHING to deserve it, the world would be appalled. Yet Vladimir Putin is killing tens of thousands and we debate the minutia of what is legal and illegal to supply it Ukraine. It's beyond bizarre. We need to facilitate Russia feeling the pain inside their own borders. At all costs. He is an obvious coward and a bully. You cannot back down from a bully or it will only get worse.

  6. I think it's time to let the Ukrainians attack some targets inside Russia – deep inside. When you start a war, you must be prepared for the enemy to shoot back. There have to be targets that would bother both the civilian and military minds inside Russia. Remind the people in Russia that their people are also at risk and maybe they'll escalate pressure on Putin. The other thing that the Ukrainians need to do is explain that Russian territory may be needed as a buffer state between the overly aggressive Russian people and the freedom loving Ukrainian people now that the Russians have taken aggressive action…. If you only negotiate over your own territory, you'll never get it all back.

  7. I think that Russia picks on us because Putin thinks our government are ungrateful because he thinks that he funded the Leave campaign and and gave the nod to donations to the Conservative party, so he feels betrayed thinking that Britain would side with him against Europe economically, but of course the invasion of Ukraine scuppered all that outcome.

  8. When you are a child in the school playground, tormented by bullies, you are the one expected to follow rules and not cause trouble, if you do defend yourself you usually end up in worse trouble than the bully. Often the bully actually gets away with his/her schoolyard terrorizing. Skip to the adult world, to powerful countries, and nothing changes; Russia invades Ukraine, terrorizes the civilians, lopes missiles across entire country of Ukraine, destroys cities, towns, villages, infrastructures, hundreds of thousands of homes, thousands and thousands of ended lives, wounded lives, destroyed lives…but Ukraine better not dare even think of sending anything into Russia says the world….well, that is fine, because Ukrainians have never attacked any other nation, always only defended their own homeland and fought for their freedom, so, why would they do any different now….but the hypocrisy against Ukraine is is so crushing, so hideous, so shameful….Russia just has to be held to account by the free world, there is no other choice.

  9. In a Q/A session on Sky News, Michael Clarke didn't even know that the Z symbol stands for Za. And recently stated in a video that the Crimean bridge was attacked with a missile (when it clearly wasn't). I wouldn't believe a single word that he says. Sean Bell is MUCH better !!

  10. What's an " Army Tactical Missile" ?? 🤣🤣🤣
Iran under sanctions can manufacture simple drones but Russia which is a world military power can't manufacturer these simple drones? 😂😂what inverted logic meant for idiots!!
As far as war crimes let's see may Iraq, Iran( bombing civillian scientists) Libya, Afghanistan, Syria there are hundreds of thousands war crimes where millions of people were killed by NATO countries. Time to start those war crime trails.
