The books are much better and they left so much out in the movie!! I know it is hard fitting a really large book into a movie but a show would have been better suiting. I really liked the books but there was a lot missing in the movie, especially important ones and major plot points. It's just sad to think a book I hold deeply in my heart is represented in such a way.

Honestly the first book is literally just the four different plot lines. Like when Alex said the identity plot, sister relationship plot, the teen romance plot. The book is essentially that but just explaining so much better. The movie kinda just touched the iceberg of these plots from the book 💀
