I find Lester as JASON VOORHEES as he lost his mother Lester lost his wife & becomes a super serial killer for their loss & seeking revenge
Lester's twisted love for his long-gone wife is somewhat similar to Alfred Ashford's twisted affection for Alexia, but Lester's motive is understandable, though not forgivable. The critical difference between the two is that Alfred's so-called affection grows out of arrogance and madness while Lester's wrongdoing comes from despair. Eye-opening as always, and a thousand thanks.

On a probably completely unrelated note, Resident Evil (especially the most recent titles) took aspects of western folklore and twisted it around by saying that they’re all bio-weapons (RE9 leaks even mentioned wendigos) but I kinda wish they’d do the same for Japanese folklore, especially since Capcom themselves are Japan based. Maybe they thought about it or maybe there’s some underlying reason why they haven’t but it’d be pretty cool nonetheless.
Albert Lester's name sounds like a Wish version of Albert Wesker.
