I saw The Rolling STones for the first time when I was 12 years old, and the opening act for them was…… Steveland Morris. Better known by his stage name Stevie Wonder. 1972 in Texas, the concert was filmed and released later titled "Ladies and Gentlmen The Rolling Stones" its on you tube I think
Long version is even better.
Im not religious at all, but I LOVE this song
Mick & Gaga😍
Do more Gaga reaction
6:58 his best vocals in a long long time. Beautiful song very emotive and spiritual. Lady Gaga? Up until now not a huge fan but this girl has an amazing voice and I think I need to reconsider her. Keyboards and drums superb.
Always said the Stones only have white skin and the more American English their sound is closer to the Blues roots👍👍👍👍🎶❤️ From Far 1962!!!
Dig how you dug this dude.
Thanks for not hoggin the song and lettin it roll.
PS: There is a " bridge" you oughta hear with Stevie.
The 7 min + version.
There is a 7 minute version e that’s even better. Great review man
I love YOUR voice. Lol. If you get a chance, listen to the longer version. There's more magic in it, if you can believe it and a Stevie solo. That song is a masterpiece and I miss the melodies, harmonies, stories and bridges of days gone by.
I mean this man is 80 years old and sounds nothing like it
Should have listen to the long version it's on another level entirely
Love this
Sublime tune.
Stevie plays some great stuff, ignited by Mick, in the album version, that has an even greater climax
Love, love it. Long version has Stevie jamming and Gaga riffing.
Agree with another poster – YOU have a GREAT voice. Wonder does make a very brief vocal appearance with his “play loud” part. I love The Rolling Stones and believe this stand alongside their greatest work.
Completely agree about the new structure of songs. They’re simply lacking because of it.
The original 7-minute version is better than this edited version.
Fantastic tune. The even longer version on the album is even better with Gaga, Jagger and Wonder all strutting their stuff. If you’re a fan of any of the three you’ve gotta check it out.
U missed the full version, the full version is over 7 minutes long
Another brilliant song from the best band in rock ‘n roll history, IMO. So powerful and moving. It soars. Love that they are not only putting out new material in their 70’s and 80’s, but also that it’s still relevant and unmistakable whose behind it!
If you're not moved by this you have a heart of stone.
Great song took me to Church…Just wish the video would have shown them all.4 doing the video
You need to listen to FULL version, instead of this short version. The full version adds another full 2 minutes of awesome at the end.
I think he’s got it..there is a longer version
Lady Ga Ga brought a sparkle to this !!! ⭐Stevie Wonder powerful soulful also words are so important!! So far lm loving Angry !!! Hackney Diamonds 💎💎🌹
Nice reaction video to a tremendous song. This track is so deep, emotional, spiritual, universal and real. So real. An absolutely amazing production. The stars aligned again.
I think Stevie has one line only
a jewel from the rock and blues gods, god bless them
That was the short version. Stevie's organ solo at the end was cut.
