About The Reign of Istar
Before the Cataclysm . . .

A kender becomes a Solamnic Knight (almost).

An ogre emerges as an unlikely savior of the dwarven race.

And gladiators compete in the bloodsport of Istar.

Together with a novella by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, these and more short stories, penned by Richard A. Knaak, Michael Williams, and others of the original Dragonlance Saga creative team — tell wondrous tales of Krynn in the legendary time of the Kingpriest.

  1. What's up DL Saga. Hello Adam. I know the name but was curious if Larry Elmore created or headed up all the Art for DragonLance? I have enjoyed learning about Authors who created DragonLance Stories that I was unfamiliar with.

  2. Cool! I love the anthologies. With Weis/Hickman, I always wanted longer stories cause they are so great at world-building and creating virtually an endless amount of interesting characters. But with some of the other DL authors, I think they shine brightest in these short stories where they can focus on a smaller plot and fewer characters. Looking forward to this!

  3. You have my interest in the realm of Dragonlance. I have been watching your videos since I subscribed to the channel. Great find in the thrift store. I know some of the trilogies are out of print, and some are hard to get a hold of, too. Please keep storytelling, too, Dungeon Master of Krynn.
