The sound effects made this so much cooler๐
Thank you for watching today's Dragonlance Mail Time episode. Have you ever picked up this mini? What do you think about a painting video? Leave a comment below!
Will we have a painting session ?
I had this miniature as a kid. I was confused as the books never mentioned the Dragon Armies having Dragon Lances. The Legend of Huma later incorporated this picture into the story to finally validate the artwork
Very cool! If you do decide to paint them, and I think it would be fun and worthwhile to do so – I think it would be fun to stream it live. Better painters than i could give real time tips but others like myself could just riff in the chat about DL topics. You could respond to the chat whenever not comcentrating on painting that microscopic pouch on the Highlord's belt that's JUST IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH!!! Sorry, that might just be a "me" problem I'm manifesting ๐
Now I just feelt like you're teasing me. ๐
What a great classic sculpt! It invokes so many memories, especially the Highlord's helm.
Also, I really love the scrollwork from the books around the edges of your videos. Immediately puts me back to my childhood.
If you want to put it together essentially permanently then you could use JBWeld or a similar epoxy. If you want to be able to take it apart then use silicone. You shouldn't have to use a lot of either one.
Since I don't see a video of you building it, I will assume you weren't able to get around to it. There is one thing I don't see in your unboxing – the metal "pole" to hold it up. If you find a very thing wire piece, that is it. However, it doesn't really work. It is too slight to actually hold it up. I would show you photos but YouTube doesn't let me do that. I am working on a way to get it to stay vertical now. I have the silver dragon, too, as well as most of the miniatures they sold then.
