And they weren’t all lionesses! The last one the hyenas ran off was a young male. He already had beginnings of a mane on his cheeks and obviously in the shots where he is running…you can see his “gender”. Even an immature male can be much stronger than lionesses. In short order they’ll have a full grown king…if mom doesn’t drive him the pride.
The líons lose their nerves, they look weak.
No, they look full.
Thats why they let the heynas take the kill.

I cannot enjoy this. It's just too freaking dramatic. So much unnecessary slow motion and close up shots. It's like watching a Michael Bay action movie. Surprised there aren't any explosions.
