One would think the reason is because it’s literally light but I guess not
Wait! So what you're saying is that vampires are made of fire????
Why doesn't the sun cast a shadow
How come flash light beams don't have shadows. Ie; Walk around a well lit parking lot (Walmart) with a flash light. You'll see your shadow and the flashlights. Not the beams though. I meant I get it. No real substance there but do it. Its neat.
It's fake
I think it's simple as you'd expect, the flame itself is a light source so how could it create a shadow of himself unless there is even brighter light behind the flame
ahhh so thats why the sun doesnt have a shadow, but wait, what even is nighttime then. theres no shadow so how is it dark outside wtf
How about: flames are light and light doesn't make shadows
Who the hell 'adores' Cleopatra as leader?
C'mon man 😂
I wondered about this for so long thank youuuuu
its just a rendering issue, will be fixed in Unreal Engine 69
"What the F…..lame". 😲
Short answer: They’re source of light and it can’t have a shadow
I guess we would have to worry if we can fully see the flames shadow? Lol😅😂
why does a light source not have a shadow? are you for real?
New type of state of matter unlocked: Salad
Flames are vampires 🦇
Simple explanation: it’s a source of light. The light does not have a shadow. It gives other things shadows
Flames are vampires!
I paused 3 seconds in. Is this seriously a question? Seriously? Hold another candle near it, now it will have a shadow.
he wants to punch that candle in the head out of pure anger
Sooooo…. Does the sun have a shadow?
I can't be the only person who saw the flame's shadow before he shined the light through it.
It looked just like it, only not as vibrant.
let me light this light real quick
What the flame
It has a shadow. It’s just very faint.
But why does smoke have a shadow tho wouldn't that also pass through
If the speed of light is constant how can it travel slower through different media??? Asking for a friend!
Do stars have shadows? 🤔
Somebody forgot to implement shadows for that shader.
We see water vapor shadows all the time in hot parking lots and stuff.
It’s because it’s the light source, and before you say “WEll WhaT AbOut LighTBuLBS???” The reflection is of the glass and not the light itself
Bro the reason it's doesn’t cast a shadow is because it literally emits light. Even if it were a solid if it emits light it won't cast a shadow does the sun cast a shadow? No! You know why? Cause it emits light!
Q: Why don't flames have shadows?
A: They do.
No they just havent patched it yet
