I do like the fact they include the PTSD a normal person would feel after one of these HFY stories. Yes, adrenaline is a hell of a drug and flight or flight will get a human to survive all sorts of crazy unlikely things, but we are not all Chuck Norris/Marvel heros going through battle without a single effect on a psyche. Especially this MC being a young girl who grew up in modern society where she never even so much as killed a chicken before to eat.
