The Pre Exhaustion Method #mikementzer #bodybuilding #fitness #gym

Now remember if he did the pull down first, the lats would not go to failure the biceps because they’re a smaller muscle. By doing the isolation exercise, first he pre exhausts the lats. His biceps are fresh. Therefore now his biceps are actually assisting his last go beyond normal failure. That’s the pre exhausting method. Very good. You got it. Hold it, hold it. This.

This is where you turn on the growth mechanism. Now up. Slow. See up. So slow, slow, slow. I know there’s a tendency to want to give up. That’s good. That’s failure. A lot of people are confused about what it means to train to failure. Training to failure means you train to the point where you can’t do one more full range positive Rep in proper form despite your greatest effort.

  2. I found that PE doesn't work the way it's intended to like when frying the pecs first with flyes actually calls on the triceps/delts to a startling extent on the press , so much so that they almost short circuit during the movement LOL !

  3. Mentzer is my bodybuilding goat because he shares everything he knows with his fans. Thank God for SOME people at least trying to keep their craft alive by talking about it.

  4. In this video he is around 42 -43 while he passed away at 49 but he looked like 60+ why ??? Because he took meth and everyone in industry knew it , preaching about methods and crying about 80 Olympia was the only thing he did

  5. I was working more of an Arnold split, now I use something closer to a Mentze style workout, the only thing is now that I added those pull downs, my biceps are sore for roughly four days after so end uo waiting almost a week to hit arms and shoulders
