  20. India came in 1983 to play the third World Cup with just one win in the previous two World Cup, that win was against a presently non-existent East Africa (by 10 wickets). In 1979, India lost even against Sri Lanka, a non-Test-playing team that time. In the first match in 1983, India defeated two-times world champion West Indies.

  32. I am not disappointed at India's loss as I never believed this team would win the world cup. Except Virat and Rohit, I don't trust other players though they have made good amount of runs. They are not of the caliber of Gambhir, Sehwag, Yuvraj singh, Dhoni, Raina who featured in 2011 world cup for various batting postions.
