My blind let’s play/ playthrough of Return to Monkey Island! It’s been such a long time coming, and I never expected it, but Return to Monkey Island is finally with us! Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman and co have released a brand new Monkey Island game that will finally answer the questions we had at the end of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge!
In this episode, we talk to the Voodoo Lady to find out more about the Eyepatch! She tells us it belonged to Jon Laney and made him unrecognisable to anybody! Apparently it’s now on display in the Museum of Pirate Lore, so we’ll need to get it out of there for her to help us! We head over to Wally’s Map Shop and catch up with him before taking the Monocle from the desk! As we head through town, we see a cutscene from LeChuck’s Ship where he discovers we tried to join his crew! He gets pretty mad and insists nobody lets us join up! We go to the Jail and use the Monocle on the Lock to write down the Serial Number for Otis’ door! Then we take the number to Locke Smith’s place and get a copy key made! We use the Key to free Otis and then head over to the Museum!

Is doing this playthrough in segments frustrating for you? I know you haven't just played through the entire game and then downloaded sections bit by bit, because you respond to comments from the previous video in the current video. I'm just thinking that you've waited so long to play this new M.I. game and you're having to play it at a much slower pace than you surely would like. Anyway, thank you. Despite the benefit of watching you play all the M.I. games, I still often suffer from falling into assumptions about puzzles and have concentration lapses that prevent me from seeing what is literally there in the game to solve a puzzle. Not any lack of being taught good game playing skills by you, just my own flaws.
I did miss LeChuck's original voice, but I guess we'll let Earl Boen enjoy his retirement.
Keep in mind that sometimes your interactions change after you look at things. For example, some objects in the Voodoo Shop can only be picked up after you've looked at them once. I made the same mistake in my playthrough and it frustrated me enough that I had to look at a hint.
I’m pretty sure if you don’t know already you can hold tab and it will highlight every intractable thing on the screen.
