The Piper

But what haunted me most were the patterns I couldn’t ignore. Again and again, his presence seemed tied to moments of darkness. It wasn’t just individuals he visited; it was communities, towns, entire civilizations. And one name kept surfacing, whispered like a curse across the centuries: Moloch.

  1. This is a particularly excellent story. I’m only 1/3 in and I’m hooked.

Update: halfway through and I LOVE the concept of the Piper. He’s so ambiguous and a really really cool character—I don’t even really want to call him an antagonist because at this point in the story, he isn’t so far.

  2. This is by far and away the best, most creative, and certainly the most riveting piece of fiction I have encountered in quite some time. Extremely unique. And I couldn't have found a better voice to have shared it with us. Awesome.

  3. The narration of this type of storytelling is amazing.
Your voice inflection and growl sounds like that of hard man who's endured a hard life. Burdened…haunted…emotionally oppressed.
It brings this story authenticity. Like it was your experience. Nice job.

  4. Hey dude,

    Real feedback for you here….

    1) bring back the evil voice in the beginnings of the stories, it makes/made you unique.
Your voice really pairs well with that narrative.
    2) you do really well with longer stories with multiple characters and really dark tones. I can see you crushing that department.
    3) keep posting, everyday your real fans check for your videos. Don’t let the algorithm’s lie stop you from uploading a fuck ton.
If you out post the competition they will only have you to turn to.

    Keep it up man.

  5. I Liked that ending
The story makes it seem like the protagonist would sometime meet with the Pide Piper and it especially felt so towards the end but I loved the message that the author made that you are the one who can save yourself
Overall great story and ur narrations are always goated 🔥🔥

  6. My dude this is definitely one of the best stories you've done, right up there with the Threshold of Evil and those are my all time favorite reads of anything by anyone. An ive been listening to ya since you did the devils due tale. Absolutely love this and just ur stories in general! Great work my friend

  7. Well done, brother now that’s a good story. I read somewhere that every abortion in America equates to a sacrifice to moloch. I think they said it was 66 million over the span of roe v wade. God I hope not, that would be very no bueno for the USA.
Never have figured out who “they” are, either. Maybe it’s the guy always trying to tell me what I need to do with my 401(k)? Idk.

  9. I'm sometimes curious about the technical side of narration. I've seen the screens used on the mics and I'm assuming that there is much more that goes into getting the final voice 'product' , but are there like programs or buttons you can use – like jaded , wise, older white man with 3 pack a day cig habit who's seen some shit or older academic who never smoked but has suffered such loss in life that the pain has made his voice gravelly.
I mean there has to be a process. He doesn't go around ordering coffee or calling the Internet provider and a service issue talking like that. As awesome as that would be. 😂❤
