  1. I was deeply involved in this case and worked closely with the families. It effected me psychologically to the point I had to quit my position. I drew so very close to the victims families ๐Ÿ™

  4. I love the irony of them selling their property and moving to Alaska to get distance from the crime being the thing that ultimately implicated them because the new owner allowed the police to search and they couldn't do a damn thing. And that is coming from someone who believes you should never give up your 4th amendment rights.

  5. Wow excellent job detectives..what gave these ppl the right to believe that they were more fit to raise this child. They obviously did a pass poor job. With there son getting a underage girl pregnant to begin with..and to brutally murder 8 ppl just to get custody of one child…I hope they all get the death penalty. .make no mistake about it..they will all stand before the Judge of the whole earth. The Lord Jesus Christ will do right and HE knows all..

  6. Iโ€™m glad this family was caught , this was a horrible crime. Yet when Iโ€™m listening to them being questioned I always wonder why (guilty or not guilty) donโ€™t just shut up and say talk to my lawyer.

  8. What a horrible family. They took custody of the kids just to turn them later on into criminals of their gang, not because they loved them. Poor Sophie was left without a mother, a father and any extended family, but in the end she was lucky not to be raced by a bunch of criminals. I hope she and George's son have a long and prosperous life.

  9. Iโ€™m following the trials now. I am curious to see what jake and Angela say. The night itself is just so confusing. Jake takes a lot of blame but the differing views on the father are odd too. All of it is crazy!!!!

  10. A very evil family when every single one chose to agree to this horrible plan of murder. All would have to be so evil already to agree to doing this and to people not even part of It. Why would they think that this big a scale of murders that they weren't going to get caught. Why not of just gotten shared custody and that be enough. Drugs, under age relationships kids having kids, and idiot mentality was just breeding this bad event. Why anyone ever chooses evil of murder…why?!!!!!!!

  11. Unbelievably evil and cold blooded! An entire family of unconscionable heathens. My condolences to the victimsโ€™ families and loved ones. This should be made into a movie. True crime is mind boggling, so unnecessary.

Though IDK what she did to make them request full custody of her child. If anything, that is. I don't know how they could feel so entitled.

Not even getting into what they did. Because there's no reason to eradicate a family. Custody of a child DEFINITELY isn't a reason to do it.

It's terrifying to think that people like this exist. And for the whole family to be involved is baffling.

    And the motive…๐Ÿ˜”

Edit: Wow. So…the whole family did it just because they were evil and controlling. That's it.

Edit 2: If Pike County is a hillbilly place ouwee I'd die so fast

  13. Just crazy. Bunch of sociopaths. 8 people. Every time I see little Chris's photo it's sad because he was only 16 years old, still a child. Though of course its really sad they killed the other members of his family. But 16. You'd think they'd at least not shot him. Little more than a baby

  14. The Wagner mother and father should have gotten the worst punishments for raising their children to be criminals and the mother homeschooled them meaning she took the tests and taught them nothing. The murdered family were not saints, but Jake dated and had a child with a minor and then worried about her mothering style and her lifestyle. This is a mind-boggling murder case. They were bright people when you look at their planning and execution of the crimes that it is sad that they didn't use their talents and skills in non-criminal ways.

  15. By far this is the best breakdown of the Rhoden 8 murder massacre and i knew it would be when i clicked on the video you did an amazing job with such a complicated case. RIP to all 8 victims and prayers to the loved ones left behind to pick up the pieces especially for all those babies who lost their parents so cruelly smfh The Wagners thought they were so smart but of course made huge mistakes they literally did all of this because their grown son got a little girl(Hanna) pregnant at the time and then expected to take her child from her smh just senseless imagine how little Sophie is going to feel once she realizes what happened to her mother and her maternal side of her family and her father having a hand in it
