Not to bring it back to Game of Thrones, but I feel like this is the exact arc. They should have taken for Kalisi. If she would have done some very questionable things the entire time, it would have made the eventual turn to fascist way more impactful imo.

the problem with making the penguin pure evil like this is that they cant make a season2 without it being bad. No one wants to see a tv show about a complete pos that has no redeeming qualities, i think right now the only thing they can do with the penguin is have him be defeated by batman and thrown into arkham
The whole time you forget that Oz is a villan cause hes doing all this messed up stuff to villans themselves and talking about being something more. Its like hes manipulating the audiance like he maniplutes everyone else on the show . But more and more through the show you see wrinkles of his lying decpetive character really leaking more and more out by the end you remeber why hes a supervillian . Outstanding rollercoaster ride.

some excellent acting and writing. I fully expected that poor Victor wouldn't make it out alive, poor guy. I don't know whether I have it in me that I'll watch a second season, I like for at least one of the characters I watch has some redeeming qualities and no one in this show does.
