Controls are 18/20 my old overlay snuck through the edit. Now this is my type of game! Let's see how it does! Mark
You rated it WAY too high in the Value department imo. The game is ok. Isn't worth anywhere near $40USD
I just got the game after watching your review, it feels like it learned a lot from BOTW, which is nice :).
Lo and behold… discount of 21% on the Australian eShop! ($45.95)
Shoutout to Austin Wintory, the music is sublime.
There is a lot to like from the review, but some of those challenges sound way too difficult for me!
think i'll save it for a stronger machine
Never heard of this till now. Great review! 👍 There is something to be said about games with this type of graphical style, and the fluidity it brings. Like Blue Fire, the animations seem to just flow making for a pleasant gameplay experience.
I absolutely loved Abzû, a game I actually skipped sleep for because I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next, so colour me intrigued by this one. I'm probably not going to buy it at full price (as much as I want to support devs who actually do the work to get a game running well on the Switch, €38 is just too much for me at the moment), but I'm definitely putting it on my wishlist and will get it as soon as it gets a discount. An open world experience that doesn't ask you to invest 60+ hours of your time is always welcome here!
This sounds really cool! I’ll be adding it to my wishlist and waiting for a sale. Maybe by then my backlog will have thinned out a bit.
…yeah, right! lol
Great game, now bring to us STRAY and KENA to Switch Annapurna and we’ll be so happy 😅😅😅
This got a lot of Journey or Abzū Style and I kinda like it😃The Track which is played in the Background of the Video, reminds me a lot of Gustavo Santaolalla with his Ronroco Instrument, like on the Last of Us Part I🤔
I wish also there should be a switchport for Journey. It's soooooo good😭
Amazing game, have it on ps5 and looks amazing for anyone not wanting to pay $31(on sale in US right now) or $40 full price for it on the switch you can find a physical copy for the ps5 for $15.
Man I loved Abzu. Need to play that again as it's been a number of years. This game looks cool thanks for the review, was not on my radar
I'm surprised they got this running on switch. It doesn't seem particularly optimized for PC.
How can it be a big open world game with a 6 to 8 hour run time .
I'm enjoying this, but am quite disappointed by the frame rate; expected a bit less stutter. Perhaps I'm used to the smoothness of the Somniel in Fire Emblem Engage.
Looks like another Annapurna win.
Hmmmmm, I am on the fence with this game. Can you find equipment in chests and find secrets like extra armor or weapon in this game? I kind of don't like that there aren't any npcs or sidequests.
I've been waiting an eternity for The Pathless to come out on the Switch, and I'm so glad that it's here!
Looks great. The more open world games, the better!!!
Just and fyi, I don't know if it was a patch but there's an option to change dash from hold to toggle.
