Eventually we reached the place. One last stop, before who knows what would come next. The outpost.
A 2 hour ambient soundscape for focus and relaxation. The visuals on this one are based on something I generated with Midjourney, an AI image engine.
Subscribe for new ambient music every Monday.
All original music that stays in the same zone but does not repeat.

I produced this synthesizer music for sleep using generative approaches on my modular synthesizer, with random sources and cycling circuits coaxed into order and ambience.
HOW I MAKE THIS MUSIC
I make music using a variety of software and hardware synthesizers, but the core of what I do is using the free modular synth environment VCV Rack (https://vcvrack.com/). VCV rack is free to download, so have a go yourself.
My pieces usually start with a random source, sometimes white noise and sometimes a random sequencer like the Music Think Modular Turing Machine (https://musicthing.co.uk/pages/turing.html). I quantise the random sources into musical notes and then feed to synthesizers that make the sound.
My pieces are long, but I like to keep them flowing and never repeating, so I use slow, sweeping low frequency oscillators to subtly shift and shape the sounds, evolving through different sounds and drifting across musical keys and scales. I design the pieces to run for long periods slowly shifting and changing so they never repeat, but stay in the same zone. Even in the 8 hour pieces the whole thing is unique and recorded in real time – usually left recording from the software and the physical machines while I sleep.
I’ll try different approaches at different times. Sometimes I focus on chords and harmonies, sometimes on melodies which loop but shift slowly over time. Sometimes it is the warping effects that create the movement and progression.
The end result is a mix of focus music for working, ambient music for relaxation, relaxation music, sleep music for deep sleep and concentration music. I try to make my pieces cinematic soundscapes to get lost in. This one is a little bit like cyberpunk music.
All music is original and copyright, it may not be re used without my permission.

Something dark and mysterious for this Monday’s atmosphere. Based it around a bubbling synth sequence, with some higher elements for interest. A soundscape for contemplation.
Love the dark ambient sounds. Keep up the great work
I really love that evolving moving synth…sounds great in all places…deeper or higher notes. I would very much like to know what synth you used for that.
THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT MUSIC. GOOD JOB. !!!! PEACE TO YOU AND GOOD. !!! LIKE AND SUBSCRIBER. !!!👌👌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
