I imagine you are playing this on Citra or some kind of emulator? There is a hotkey to change the speed of the emulation. Maybe cotton accidentally turned his games speed to 70%. I accidentally changed my speed to 120% and it was ridiculous. Hope this helps. 😄
Ya know ever think about the fact that given that the ship is modeled after a big whale, theres actual huge whales somewhere out there in the MH oceans and who knows what else? If anything makes me curious to see any maps with underwater and combat just so we can see what the ecosystems like down there cause compared to the land stuff I feel we have a very limited look.

If u guys are using an emulator for multiplayer like citra that might be why cotton was bugging out, I’ve heard there have been some slowdown issues, as for how to fix, I’ve got no idea, but hopefully that narrows it down

When those slowmos/monster just stands there things happen in GU, the monster is not taking any damage or very little damage sooooo its best to re-start the hub to fix any connection issues -or else you'll end up running out of time. Might be the same in 4U, to an extent, by the looks of it
I did this with HBG once. Had started a new character as an excuse to learn a new weapon. Love the addition of the sound effects. Very nice touch.
