It must be hard for Yoda, seeing Dooku becoming their ultimate enemy (before they knew Sidious even existed), as Dooku was Yoda's personal Padawan. The first one he had in such a long time, seeing so much potential inside of Dooku.
Although, for all Yoda's wisdom, he remained blind to the real problems Dooku had with the Jedi's dogmatism and the legitimate grievances many planets in the galaxy had with the Republic. Yoda really could have been a force for change for the better inside the order had he not been so blinded by dogma. It's hard to imagine that someone as wise as he was couldn't see the issues that surrounded him every day, as they really were quite glaring imo 🤷
Did you know Star Wars has its own Multiverse? And Somewhere in that Multiverse Dooku returned….Also somewhere in that Multiverse Yoda Fell….Imagine that…One of the greatest jedi masters returning from the Dark Side…And one of the Most Powerful Jedi Masters falling to the Dark Side…900 years of Lost and Pain…..
Yoda was also thoeried to have experienced the darkside in the past ,when the mirror, ordarkside inversion of Yoda says " Yoda doesnt want to play eith us anymore. Hinting that he had dabbled in the past. Another short instance is during his exile on Dagobah when he attempted to learn electric judgement.
Anger is a lie. It offers false power, but it is a fire that burns the user as well as the target. Regret, guilt and shame are it's brothers. It is never satisfied and always seeks to justify itself. Great suffering awaits those that listen to its promises of satisfaction but leaves you alone in a desert of your own hell. Let go. The light offers better comfort even in the midst of darkness. Fight with hope, not fury.
Yoda being a sith would be awesome
Yoda simply lacks the content of character or personality for the Dark Side
You dont know what to do anymore, right stupendous wave??
Bro…., you already talked about it in many others videos. You didnt just named it, you explained it fully.
Ask to your community for subject to talk about rather than doing same videos again and again
I think the larger point is that just like a light side yoda a dark side yoda doesn’t want anything. The difference is, the dark side yoda wouldn’t care about anything other than his whims. Meaning essentially dark side yoda would be the equivalent to a Greek god. All powerful and very whimsical. Could wipe out the entire universe and start anew just because he was bored. Because the ironically the dark side of the force embodies change, death, decay, chaos. Just as Yoda is an avatar of the light, peace, life, serenity, growth, healing, the dark side yoda would embody the very end of the universe itself
A Jedi cannot ignore the suffering of people
Vader and the empire got them out of hiding with atrocities
Yoda 20 years hiding.
This is fine🐸
Fucking Legends!!
Sometimes the greatest show of strength is to know you could do something and not do it. Yoda COULD have surrendered to the Dark Side and he MIGHT have saved the order in doing so, but it would have demanded that he not only betray his family but himself. Yoda knew that him saving the order that way wasn't saving what the order stood for. And, in a way, doing nothing allowed the fire of Order 66 to purge the darkness from the Order so that it could be reborn anew. The Jedi had lost sight of their path as peacekeepers and become generals of war. It needed to be cleansed. Yoda even tells Luke this in The Last Jedi. Clinging too much to tradition lead the Jedi to fall. Something new needed to rise from their failure, something better. And in a way that is the great trial of life. Allowing that which hold you back, the chains of the past, to fall away so one can be something new, something better. Be content in what you have, but never stop striving to better yourself and the world around you. THAT is the way of the Light.
“Yoda would never turn to the dark side”
“Here’s that one time….”
“And palpatine feared it”
The jedi were Republicans.
What is a real life plant doing in the Star Wars universe?
The image of dark Yoda on the swamp has scarred me for life and this image is not even real. So glad that Yoda remained the good and wise master Jedi he is and stayed that way until very end
If Sha Gi had even accessed 1% of his power while using the dark side, he'd have ended the clone troopers and Palpatine in an instant. Sadly because they'd already made episodes 4-6, they had to kill him off to allow the story to make sense
I LOVED THIS!!!!!
Hoped this helped someone. As a person who uses movies & TV to express an idea, this was just…right on. Might not mean much to others, but this helped me.
Thanks for the Holocron. 🥰
I would absolutely love to see this play out in animation or live action. Incredible and never knew this moment happened.
It is one thing to touch the darkness and another to use its power.
Despite him proclaiming the dangers of fear, he himself was afraid of the dark side. If he had studied it more, or allowed the Jedi to study it, I don't think Sidious would have been so successful. I think maybe Yoda went stale for 500 years and his presence kept the Jedi stagnant as well for hundreds of years. Hence their fall. I blame Yoda.
I would love to see this scene in a future animation with Yoda asking Dooku for a rose to see his facial expression 🤣🤣🤣
considering that Mace was considered to be the only jedi of the time to control both light and dark, my guess is he could end up being a stabalizing balance as well (if he was able to evenly control both sides), making him both utterly humble and happy as he is with the light, but ruthless and downright destructive with the dark, if he was able to control it properly then id guess that only anakin, or even the Father would have to intervene (if need be)
Yoda: a Rose give me
Dooku: I'll give you a rose when you fix this damn door!
This is oddly wholesome and I love it 😂
I just dropped a meme
That's scary
That scene when Yoda told him to produce was chilling
Dooku thought he had a brilliant plan…..
Until he realized that a darkside Yoda would literally be an uncontrollable and nearly unstoppable monster I mean just imagine what dooku felt for him to instantly be in complete fear for his life
