  1. Why the US allies don't acquire the A10. ???
Out of a thousand rounds ninety plus round hit the stationary target.. Great!! πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£.
Most downed fighter jet in Iraq war. The A10, being grounded to save its reputation. LOL lmao.πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£.
    Send them to Ukraine. ( A10 )πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£

  2. It sounds like Thor burping, if that's helpful in anyway. They were actually the most boring planes using the target ranges in FL in the late 80s, except the burrrp sound. The USAF isn't wrong to want to divest themselves of a10s, because they should've always been attached at the division level. The argument for a huge fleet of a10s to protect the Suwvalki gap has changed

  3. Problem is the depleted uranium ammunition leaves radioactive ☒️ dust and particles that contaminate the ground and cause cancer and illness in people exposed to it years later.

  4. So, the closest thing to a real test, was against Iraqi armor columns during the first Iraq war. That was truly devastating. I've seen the famous photographs from Highway 80, aka "the highway of death" (which is the best search term, for anyone who wants to see the photos).

The only question is, was it devastating because Warthog/GAU-8 is a good weapon, or was it devastating because they were attacking a column consisting mainly of buses and trucks, with some outdated APCs, old tanks, and the occasional stripped down version of the T-72, from behind, as they were retreating along a single, straight, desert highway, without any air defense or cover?

Some may say "the former". I say "the latter".

Iraq had declared defeat, its army was retreating, the UN mission was accomplished, and the US forces had no intention of entering Iraq far enough that they might have to fight those retreating troops. And, no, it wasn't about reducing Iraq's military capacity; like I said, it was mostly buses, transporting easily replaced, dime-a-dozen conscripts. If they could've surrendered, they would've been released again, mere weeks later; instead, they were gunned down in second and third passes, as they tried to bail out of burning vehicles. Burned corpses were fused to the walls and windows of burnt out buses, where they had taken cover from the machine gun fire. It was the closest thing to shooting fish in a barrel, and nothing short of an obscene massacre and a supreme display of cowardice by the US. Nothing even close to it has been seen since WWII, except in other wars fought by the US.

Shooting villagers in Afghanistan is hardly very impressive.

  5. He made Bold statements concerning the GAU-8 and A-10, but it's all true, this one weapon changed modern warfare, with an A-10 overhead armored vehicles offer no safety, only a more temping target.

  6. Like I said, the great invention of the greatest machine gun was ever invented by a civil war general, Richard Gatlin was century ahead of his time, πŸ˜ŽπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‘βœοΈπŸ™
