you shouldn't put new pads on a worn rotor, the new flat pad only hits the high spots of the rotor and causes overheating. you need to machine the rotor first.
Took your advice Scotty got those Acca Bono breaks for my 2015 Toyota Highlander and replace the rotors to seems to work flawless, thank you
I only used ceramic pads 1 time on my personal vehicle, 1 year later wiped out factory rotors, told I needed to upgrade rotors to match, exactly 1 year again 20k miles (approximately) all 4 wiped out again. Went to warranty out parts said I just wanted the cheap Duralst bronz parts that lasted years and only needed pads for the next couple of pads slaps until vehicle sold with over 300k miles after first 100k miles changed oil 10/20k miles and ran like a champ every day, 2000 sport trac 2wd 5spd standard,

Akebono's OEM customers include Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Honda, Isuzu, Mazda, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Stellantis, Subaru, Toyota and Volvo…but are they ceramic? Doubtful.
Another thing you can do if you’re doing both fronts is turning the wheel either way( right on the right side and left on the left side of the car) while it’s in the air to give you some more room to work on the car
