The Machine God is the revered master of the entire Cult Mechanicus, so it’s a good thing they haven’t found out the truth about him.

  1. Fun fact the omnissiah, machine god and machine spirit are technically different things if you think about it. The omnissiah is like jesus, the machine spirit is the holy ghost and the machine god is god. So by holy trinity logic the omnissiah is Big E as he is space jesus, the machine god is the void dragon as its an actual godlike entity, and the machine spirit is the action at a distance of one, either or both of them at the same time on machinery.

When you go to fire your bolter but the void dragon and the emperor are having a psychic battle over whether theyll let it fire or not

  2. I hate to say, but about 3 minutes in and the theory is already wrong. The Emperor is not the Ombissiah (even tho some admech followers think so), and the Omnissiah is not a god. The Omnissiah is the prophet (or a disciple of) the Machine God. They are (at least) 2 separate entities.

‘I demand you desist,’ the magos said when his technological arts failed him. ‘Stand down, machine, by the Machine-God and the Omnissiah! Stop, stop, stop!’ he pleaded.
‘You know nothing of either,’ said UR-025. ‘I have met the Omnissiah. The actual one, not the Earthling corpse. He would find you extremely disappointing.’ Men of Iron, Vaults of Obsidian (2019 collection of short stories linked to the Blackstone Fortress Warhammer Quest series).

Some sidenotes: the Dark Mechanicum is an overlapping term for a mix of Hereteks, Archeoteks, Xenoteks and some chaos tainted Mechanicus. And humanity explored the universe before the Emperor was prominent.

  3. Who's the Guardian????????????
There's someone from pre dark age of technology that has survived everything up to this point and we know next to nothing about them…

  4. I was under the impression that the Omnissiah was not exactly the Machine God itself, but more along the lines of its avatar. Kinda like the Christian trinity of God.
    Machine God ≈ Father
    Omnissiah ≈ Son
    Motive Force ≈ Holy Spirit

  5. So the fact he brought up Jesus is quite quaint. In old lore The Emperor was actually Jesus, more like who Jesus is based on. It's one of the reason he Hayes religion. It was an experiment, that failed spectacularly.

  6. True Machine God? A human built AI forgotten due to the DAoT that was designed with the purpose to aquire all knowledge. The mechanicus partially recovered corrupted files about the project and filled in the gaps with their beliefs.
