The Not-So-Greatest Plane: Tu-104 “Camel” | Corrupted Intel Files

This time we crack into a request, the Tu-104 jetliner with one of the worst reputations, so bad that even the Soviets made a song about it.

  1. 3:16 Impressive you made a video over a soviet plane and made me hate the British even more. Congratulations.
If anyone is curious as to why, he states 10 yrs to make the comet(1952) which would put it in the middle of WW2. So they can afford to pay for development of a commercial airliner but America just forgave their debt from lend-lease

  2. Also with the tu-104 that killed all those officers I believe the soviets put the fleet on high alert thinking the plane was destroyed by the west with an early strike before launching a full attack on them

  3. When I saw the vide title, I wondered if you'd cover the "last flight of the admirals" – and you didn't disappoint!

At least it opened up promotion paths for people at the dead-end of their careers. Some of them had ended up there for very good reasons, so there was plenty of crazy shit happening at the Soviet Pacific Fleet in the 1980s and into the 90s. Oooh boy…

  4. Paper Skies never explained in so much detail as to explain why Stalin actually made a wise decision to reject Tupolev's original intercontinental bomber and force him to just copy B-29s and why their most successful design, the Tu-160, is actually designed by Myaschiev.

  5. That song about the Tu-104 sounds absolutely like a funeral anthem.

I have a question : Where is the centre of mass of the FUEL ? Then, how the reducing mass of the fuel affect the over all centre of mass of the whole plane during a flight ?

So, this is what we get when pride and propaganda are your motivation to do something.
