  1. How far do you think the Jets go this year? 🤔

*Also, during the creation of this video it was announced Todd Downing will be calling plays moving forward instead of Nathaniel Hackett. I don’t think it will make that much of a difference, but I hope I am wrong. I can’t imagine the play calling is worse than what Nathaniel has been through 5 weeks though.

  2. So let’s not glaze over your offseason predictions of the Jets being a Super Bowl contender and also saying how there offense can be quite good. Now your flip flopping.

Also Hackett has been stripped of his play calling duties. Todd Downing is now calling plays, he was a very solid guy when he was the O Cord for the titans years ago.

  3. You are right about jets tackle Fashunau. You want to know a rookie tackle who has a real chance to be a Tyron Smith or a Lance Johnson or a Joe Thomas? Check out Bengals right tackle Amarius Mims. His first game as a starter he went up against Jadaveon Clowney the entire game and gave up 0 sacks 0 QB hits and 1 pressure. I know Clowney isn’t like the best or anything but he is still dam good. Mims stoned him. Clowney couldn’t go around him because Mims is 6’8’’ 350 and fast he ran a 5.03 40 and and he has 36.25” arms and Clowney couldn’t go through him for obvious reasons. His next start he played the Ravens d line. He gave up a little more pressure and 1 sack in that game. The first game he played was against the Commanders and his first snap he gave up a sack. So he has played 2.5 games so far and given up 2 sacks 0 hits and 4 pressures. Not bad for a 21 year old kid who only started 8 games In college. He only played 840 snaps TOTAL in college.

  4. The time to fire Saleh was last season. It was too late once the season started. Now if Ulbrich does good or even goes 9-8 or 8-9 you have a Raiders/Antonio Pierce situation where you have to keep him as HC next season.

  5. Hackett was demoted yesterday. I think they gave him the option of sticking around based on Jeff Ulbrich’s (interim head coach) comments at his conference. Sounded like they practically let him go without officially letting him go

  6. Bro cooked here. The Jets are trash. Straight poverty franchise. Can't just give a washed was never really that good has been a paycheck and expect to wash off the poverty curse. Have to make move after move to exscapse poverty hell. Bring in DA and maybe salvage this year but it's still looking bad for the poverty Jets.

  7. A lot of people don’t realize that it is Rodgers that doesn’t have any pre snap movement and sophisticated plays. Aaron is trying to run a mid 2000s offense in 2020s and they’re getting destroyed. Minnesota and BFlores tore apart the Jets and had Aaron on the turf multiple times, throwing 3 picks. Jets need a offensive mind like KOC, McVay to run the offense, and as long as Aaron is QB that won’t happen. Rodgers has too much power of the organization. Good QB but a bad play caller and coach, hence ARod isn’t a coach.

  8. I'm not a AR fan at all. This team was more than 'competent' QB play away from a SB. If the Jets can't establish the run AR will always have a long day. Nobody respects play action when the run is getting stuffed all day. O-line needs something.

  9. I understand why the Jets would try to acquire Devante Adams, but I don’t think it makes sense for Adams to agree to go to the Jets. Adams is a great player, but he’s not going to be the magical pill or silver bullet that will fix that offense. The Jets offense is in shambles. Hackett was not a good coordinator. Downing, who effectively replaces Hackett in all but name, is no better than Hackett. And then there’s Rodgers himself, who despite having some good weapons on offense still can’t get the job done. And we’re not even sure how much of the offensive game plan and play calling was Hackett or Rodgers himself at this point. Acquiring Adams in this situation won’t help the team as much. It’ll just mean Rodgers will force feed Adams the ball instead of Garrett Wilson. But even then I don’t think it’ll be enough to drag the team out of playoff purgatory. On top of that you have a public example of organizational dysfunction from the Jets with the timing and manner of Robert Saleh’s firing. If I were Adams, I’d have some serious questions about the culture in that locker room. There’s also the lingering question of how long Rodgers will stay with the Jets if Adams goes to New Jersey. In fact, that was crux behind Adams’ decision to leave Green Bay in the first place. I don’t think Adams would want to put himself back into the same situation all over again, especially with an organization that many agree are not prepared even now to make a deep playoff run much less a Super Bowl appearance.

  10. I've been saying it for 2 years now. The moment they hitched their wagon to a 39 year old QB they were doomed. Most 39 year old QBs are not Tom Brady(or Joe flacco?) . Most look like cooked big Ben or Peyton getting benched for half the year. And they did nothing to prepare for the future in the mean time. It was just a poorly run team.

  11. They need to hire Bill Belechek to run the organization for at least a year or two and see what happens, also give Tyrod Tailor a chance to start,I don't care if Aaron Rodgers gets upset before is too late to save the season

  12. When I think of the Jets.
I see Namath in a fur coat. Sexually harassing Suzy Colbert on live tv.
And I think of your best player that fireman hyping up the crowd.
    The butt fumble.
    Rex Ryan fat blowhard.
Revis lockdown corner for a NY minute
Vague vision of Boomer at QB
    Curtis Martin gashing my colts.
Wayne Chrebet being better than Keyshawn
    Parcels. The Goat.
That one guy in the bangles video.
Manning getting injured by you pieces of shit and leading to his exit from the colts.
Being at Mannings comeback win his rookie year vs the gets. 1 of his 3 wins.
    All in all.
    Some good moments.
But bottom line is YOU GUYS SUCK
And I’m pretty sure your QB is high. Rodgers doesn’t even talk to his own dad. He’s got to be a pile of shit

  13. While I agree they have underperformed, and I agree Hackett is mostly at fault, although the O line has been a huge disappointment so far. That's to be expected when you've basically got 5 new guys playing together for the first time. I figured it might take half the season for them to hit their groove. The sooner the better. Rodgers is getting hit way too often, and Breece is getting hit 3 yards behind the LOS. Every play at least one blocker blows their assignment.

Hopefully sometime before mid-season they get it together and the offense starts putting up 3-4 TDs/game. Possibly, it's bad coaching again, and OL coach Keith Carter and running game coordinator Tony Dews need to go as well. In the offseason don't be surprised if HC Jeff Ulbrich cleans house on offense and brings in his guys.

But I disagree that the Jets lack talent. Woody =Johnson fired Saleh because he said he didn't want to waste what he considered to be the best roster he's seen in his 25 years of ownership, and I agree with him. On paper, our O line is easily in the top 10. With skill guys like Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, Braelon Allen and Mike Williams, and of course ARod, I think the talent is certainly there. If we get Davante Adams (Go Bulldogs! I live in Fresno, CA) we'll have elite talent. Obviously our defense is top 10 if not top 5. They will look better when they start getting help from the offense with TOP and field position.

As for desperation. If we beat the Bills at home Monday night, we're in first place in our division with a 2-0 division record. It's a long season. Try not to get too high or too low, keep an even keel. You're never as good as you look as when you win, and you're never as bad as you look when you lose. Those cliches exist for a reason. Because they're true.

  14. The thing is that Aaron Rodgers can’t move the way he used to move. Dan Orlovsky said this that the Jets office needs a lot more motion is too stagnant so you are right they need an experienced receiver by Devante who can come in and knows how Aaron wants to play.

  15. It is interesting that you brought up how the Jets could not get a touchdown from the one yard line against the Broncos. Hackett’s first game as the head coach of the Broncos. That happened to him TWICE in Seattle and Denver got zero points. And lost the game by one point. Hackett is a nice guy, but he is a bad coach at the NFL level. He also lost got fired during the season as the offensive coordinator for Jacksonville.

  16. Now the Jets players are now going to just collect the check nothing more nothing less unbelievable it was too early to find this man now players are gonna pretend they hurt so they can be out for the rest of the season and collect the check that’s it

  17. You forgot to mention one key element:
The Old Geezer is not winning another Super Bowl! Not a chance! He had a lot of opportunities with great players on his team since SB XLV! All those MVP's, yards, touchdowns and he couldn't do it! The Jets opened every door to him and he won't deliver! The best thing he can do is retire before he tarnishes his "legacy"! The Jets need to stop taking what other teams get rid of, build a team from the ground up and look at the long run! The short run hasn't been working!
