The new space race: Russia launches first mission to moon in almost 50 years

Despite waging war in Ukraine, Russia’s president Vladimir Putin doesn’t want to be left out of the latest space race.

For the first time in almost half a century, Russia has launched a lunar mission in the hope of building a base together with China on the south pole of the moon.

It’s a goal which the United States and Europe are very much chasing too.

  1. I call b******. We never even went to the Moon. How come it takes him so long to get back and how come NASA says they don't have the technology anymore. The public gets shoveled b****** and they love to eat it.

  2. Nice to see Putin going through his bucket list :
    * Invade a European country and commit genocide
    * Fall out with the West
    * Fly to the moon
    * The big one – Reform the Soviet Union
    * On his death bed – Launch Satan 2
