  1. I am almost certain that explosion when they're talking to someone is them talking to Teo, and the explosion from the mechanist. Especially since the explosion is green, and the person is sitting, and from the back they appear to be young

  2. It looks great! The only thing I could knit pick is the CGI maybe. The fire looks great earth bending looks 🫤. I don't think I truly care. If the story is done well I don't think I'll care much 🙏🏾

  3. The one scene with the explosion you werent sure where it was, i think that is also in Omashu. As you also noticed it does look like they are combining those 2 bits together.

I imagine there will be a lot of that as they are condensing 23 episodes into 8 episodes.

Im totally okay with them changing a few things. It would be good if they bring up Rava now so it isnt a shock later (assuming they go that far with the series). When Aang goes into the Avatar state the glow kinda looks like Rava. Imo.

  4. There was an EW article just published talking about the actors aging. It goes on to say that the showrunners removed the race against sozins comet to explain the actors aging. This would mean that the Netflix adaptation doesn’t necessarily take place in a single calendar year story-wise.

  5. 4:46 I’ve seen speculation that this is Omashu, and the kid they’re talking to is the kid with the wheelchair glider (forgot his name)
It seems as if they’re combining The Mechanic and Omashu for the sake of time.

  6. I think I’m the only one who didn’t quite like the trailer/cgi and am SO SKEPTICAL of how this will turn out. I can already feel the choices they make during some episodes are gonna piss me off.

  7. Remember, Sozin once said and I quote, “I knew the next Avatar would be born an air nomad, so I wiped out the air nomads..” key word here is “I”. So, Sozin was very much present during the air nomad attack/genocide. Most likely led the entire army at that.

  8. Aang actor getting older. I got you. Move the comet out by a couple years. When Azula does that thing at the end of season 2…and Aang wakes up in season 3, he's in a coma for a couple years so if he ages then they'll have an in story explanation.
