it kinda sucked, the cats are good tho finally put in a petting system even if for a bit. im skipping all of 4.5 wisges and doing some events just for primos ngl.
The new banner is what the weapon banner is with the character banner system. They actually acknowledged dehyas and tighnaris weapon, so there's that.
But what does this banner even do? Its just as expensive, still 50/50, and you don't keep your pity.

New character banner system looks dumb TBH, an obvious trap for new players. Using intertwind fates for a banner that the pity doesn't even carrry over to the next. I already have all of them, dodged a bullet right there.
Pls just tell me i can finally complete the statue of the seven with this patch 😭 i am so over it at this point
The only problem with the chronicle wish banner is that it uses intertwined fates instead of acquainted fates. It's basically just the standard banner with new standard characters using intertwined fates. What I would wish is that they would add more event weapons later on and that the characters would change soon. Another con is that like the weapons banner fate points won't transfer over, but that's assuming that the characters and weapons change each patch. It just seems like a half thought out solution to the much bigger problem with their gacha system. It just seems like a lot of the stuff they are adding to this update are solutions to non-existent problems instead of dealing with the actual problems within the game.
A lot of Travelers are probably going to skip Chiori for Neuvillette and the Chronicles Banner, I’m going to try for either Hunter’s Path or Beacon of the Reed Sea

Not saying the new event banner is bad but surely it would be better if it used standard currency instead of event currency right ?
Since I think of it like this: Spend your event currency on getting the new 4* and 5* character OR you spend it on trying to get any of these characters that have been run more three times each.

Dont get fooled by the chronicle banner. Imo its just to distract you from the event banner. Its maybe okayish for collectors but you still can lose your 50/50 and the fatepoint doesnt carry over to the new banner so I bet Hoyo will figure something out how to make you spend a lot on these.
They should remove standard banner and make the new wish banner as standard

I stop playing Genshin impact because of the Pity system now I came back because of this patch I'm not saying the game is not Fun it Is Fun. The monitization is something to do with genshin now we have the ability to choose what we want with the weapons. Hope this Patch will improve more not just value of money we spend but the player base how they like to play and use said weapons and characters
Play honkai impact 3rd part 2 pls ,you can change the control like genshin now
The chronicle banner is just a slightly better version of the trashed weapon banner amd it's probably permanent will rotations for each nation. I guess we now have triple banners like some people wanted 🤷
Just my opinion hoyo is now listening to the community heck it took them 3mil unfollowers just to listen to the players they should have listening to us from the beginning not only that it took them almost 4yrs to listen 😑 it's almost like blizzards downfall

Hey Doro i just wanted you to know a cheaply made pokemon rip off app is using your name and likeness clipping vids of you pulling on genshin and using it making it look like you are pulling for pokemon on this game mystic sprite showdown you should report them or even sue considering they are probably making money off of you
Sound good, I think everyone shoots thru the content really fast each update. The extra banner and weapon pull when make players have to work more to get the resources they need for each new section.
I rly wish they did more with revisiting inazuma so it would be less of a filler
