Idk if you know this but chromatic fire's damage reflect to the weapon you use. Using chromatic fire with arbalest in PvP you could one hit enemies from the explosions.
I think that the rework achieves its goal of being a neutral game exotic. It’s a jack of all trades- master of none style piece that really isn’t meant to be the crux of a build. Of course you can build more specifically into weaken from void or slow from stasis with other more specialized exotics, but that’s not what this piece is meant for, and in that regard, I’d deem the rework a success.
Maybe would be OP if it proced on any kinetic kill instead of only precision. But would definitely have a chance at being relevant like that.
I feel like itll shine better in GMs with wishender on arc or void especially if someone on your team already has phoenix protocol covered.
I have yet to try this but I was thinking of running Hung Jury with Kinetic Tremors and Centrifuge. I theory it should be pretty great. I guess it depends on if Kinetic and the Chromatic Fire perks stack.
Aside from Chromatic being ass (still) this season, Warlock in general is ass this season.
I definitely disagree with you saying “blinding” isn’t amazing. It’s actually super strong
Honestly, it should not be tied to kinetic weapons
They 1/6 of all damage types in the game atm, and is just harder to build around then any other damage type
Make it so it just works with any weak point kill, making it so you can stack more effect with your weapons
Making weapons like Centrifuse even better, or Graviton Lance, or Sunshot, really make it help weapon step up to 11 for pve add clearing
Cause at this moment, building for a kinetic weapon just is not worth it, the extra damage is not enough
It just puts a bandaid on using an unoptimized build, instead make it empower your already good weapons to great
We all were let down with these changes. They’re nice but nothing beneficial. I also hate the work with promethium spurs. And they still haven’t done anything to apotheosis viel.
I need a solar support warlock build for raids and dungeons
All it really needs is a buff that double's the secondary effect's radius.
Personally I think that'll make this the PERFECT buff.
Does it also proc woth kinetic tremors? That's what I want to try. If I can apply sever/weaken to a bunch of enemies and then one beefier guy emits tremors to kill all the red bars around him, that could be fun

on void it is way too pointless, nezarec's sin can spam child of the old gods and debuffing vortex grenades, i think if people actually put down controverse hold for 3 seconds and actually tried nezarec's sin, they wouldn't go back, but hey, that's my oppinion.
My arguement to this video is. Not everything needs to be meta or broken. The game isnt difficult enough for that to matter

Even in gms wish ender one shots all red bars
Body shots should do the current bonus. And headshots should be double size and effects.

Chromatic should also make elemental well things (don't remember what the name was changed to. Fire sprites, void breaches et cetera) on head shot kills.
The only possible use that I can see for this in endgame content is if you are running strand without using Necrotic/Osteo build.
Every other class has better exotics for every situation.
