You need to watch the video on Sir Frank Whittle, and you'll see that the German who lead the development of the Jet engine benefited greatle from Fank's work! The Italians if I remember correctly, developed an engine that had a Piston engine to drive it's compressor blades and didn't get too far!

"Schwalbe" is a type of bird, and is pronounced:
"Sh-VAH-L-B-EH"
kind of a "bleugh" sound at the end (like you are spitting out food"

German doesn't feature many silent letters, if it is in there, pronounce it, as whack as some words sound.

I’ve never heard anyone pronounce German aircraft names the way you do. Sound out the letters. It’s M-E, not like the word “me.” Same goes for aircraft from Heinkel. It’s H-E, not “he.”

The viktor writes the history. The incapable and undeserving countries won. But it will always amaze the world that how germans were ahead of their time in terms of technology and weapons.
One big issue for the ME 262 you failed to talk about was the fact Germany didn't have the Fuel to actually have a large scale fleet of ME 262s
