Why did you use the B29 in the comparison? The b17 saw the most action in ETO. The 29 was mostly used in the PTO .

Edit: the Lancaster Bomber can't carry 10.000 kg of bomb load. It Was only about 6.000kg.

That fact the the video is about the ju-287 and is sponsored by war thunder the perfect game to have the ju-287 but the craziest aircraft in it is the ho-229-v3 and the ju-287 isn’t in it
The gray pods mounted under the engines of the JU-287 were essentially RATO pods (Rocket assisted take off) which would have been jettisoned after take-off. They would have no business being on the craft while it's doing its bomb run.

With the landing gear being as big as it is, you'd think that would affect the aerodynamics needed to outrun Allied fighters.
The B29 was never active in the European war so why include it? The Lancaster, Handly Page Halifax, B17 and B24 handled the bombing in Europe as far a heavies go.
The Ju 287 V1 flew with piston engines and little data is available telling us about stability and if it would have been suitable for bombing missions. It took months of testing to figure out the US flying wing bomber Northrup was building late in WW2 had stability issues that would have make it unsuitable for bombing missions. Though that was fixed the entire programs was cancelled after several models were made. Point is the V1 never had the air time to tell us anything but it flew. It sure would not be fast with the propeller engines it carried. Again no data come from the Soviets efforts and even information on the Mikulin AM-2 engines is hard to find. This is another one of those paper airplanes like the Ho 229 What if content providers like to bring out.

Terrific ideas without the staying power engines wise. Since the Germans did not have the correct heat resistant alloys, these engines would not last. So advanced wings and stuff mean nothing if the engines won't keep flying with any robustness none of these Jumo or any German engine had in the day.

There were no NAZI aircraft but only those of the Luftwaffe. To describe German wartime aircraft is just as strange as to describe Englisch and American aircraft as democratic aircraft. Just a thought!
