  1. YES, YES, YES – chp 130! The awakened humans have several hundred years to catch up on. They have a lot of culture shock in store. It's good to see Sovlin getting out of his deep guilt ditch. By helping Hunter, he also helps himself.

  3. Damn, Solin's character growth is… staggering to say the least.

    From being a genocidal maniac plagued by untreated PTSD to a rough-around-the-edges-but-otherwise-upstanding guy with a passion for helping others where he can while also getting the proper help he needs. He is the true MC with such a character arc, so well written too! Goes to show that there really is a difference between good people that did bad things and bad people. I wonder if WWII could've been prevented if Hitler was able to get the help he needed… or was he genuinely a piece of shit?

  14. Sovlin is a picture perfect example of the saying: hurt people hurt people. I am glad to see his development but I am concerned. If Hunter was from the 1960s he is likely racist or has a poor perception of anyone who does not have a fair complexion. Folk were much more stubborn back then too, even compared to today. I'm surprised he didn't say anything about a woman acting in a combat role. Because back then women were seen as softer people who needed to be protected they were not perceived as viable warriors… Even though in different nations throughout history they were. The wives of Spanish conquistadors fought alongside them although people don't remember that.

  18. I wonder if the Farsul prisoners will be put in cryopods and placed in a museum. Seems like a completely reasonable request to ask of them. We’re trying to save their species after all; those idiots confined to their own world will will either drown or starve to death inside a paper bag.
