Lol family member that normally do not eat meat do steal or want to try food you are eating. More so the ones that want to be petted after. 😂
Despite being herbivores, deer have been observed eating meat from dead bodies in the wild. Cattle as well. Most herbivores may at time eat insects as well as plants or occasionally scavenge from dead bodies. Most animals, and birds do social grooming, and it makes them feel good emotionally.

"meat" as a general term is so much more concentrated a form of sustenance that yes, most herbivores will opportunistically (or sometimes forcefully) partake, especially when their needs are paramount (starvation, pregnancy/lactation, etc).
Many rodents are omnivores. Some of them even hunt.
