A pissed off 8 foot tall sentient alligator is tearing across outer space to save the only real friend he has ever had. The next chapter or two should be wildly entertaining, especially when the mouse finds out who Siffy really is.

Found another narrator of this story and Adastra one is of course amazingly better with voices, ambient sounds, images.

That ending. With the warp spooling up was great
I see isif being taken out of the story soon. He admitted that his attachment was going to be a problem, not he's in a protective rage, he'll save her for sure, then get called out for it, discovered as a double agent, then killed. She's going to find out what he is, reject him, but he won't care when the end comes for him, because he knew he did right by her in his final acts. I won't be surprised if that happens, but I won't be disappointed either
"Do you have predator disease?" Proceeds to describe what being a serviceably functional autistic human is like.

God, this entire thing is a beautiful metaphor(?) of the story of the mouse removing a thorn from a lions paw and becoming friends.
OOoo He gave in! Chief Hunter Alpha Male Double Agent Isif gave in and commanded his entire fleet to protect a planet of rodents! To protect his leaf-licker friend ! This is really going to be interesting!

I’m afraid for Isif. I’m sure he’ll be successful in saving his new friend’s life however the backlash could be deadly. They already suspected he was a human sympathizer and, after hearing about his valiant rush to save the dosser home world, the betterment might come for his head!

glad to see my country is still up to its old manipulation tactics even in 2100. The way general Jones is playing on isifs emotions is straight out of the CIA playbook next they'll probably convince him to start an insurgency to destabilize his government and have him convinced it was his idea all along 😏😏

Chad Hunter Isif is hands down my favorite character! I love seeing how his character develops and how he is becoming more and more like a human
xx_Siffy_xx to the rescue! Poor Isif just got a friend, SpacePaladin better not have killed her! It's really cool to see another side to the galaxy though. To have an alien in a galaxy so anti "predator" say that they think some forms of "predator" disease aren't bad is such a wildly different view than we've seen. Though maybe she's considered to have "predator" disease
Not only do I like Isif's character development, I also like the voice you've assigned to it.
