The murder of Jessica Morrison [True Crime Documentary]

On an early summer evening in rural Tennessee, a man and his dog were out for a walk when they came across a grim discovery. A young mother, killed and then abandoned on the roadside.

Her identity was unknown, but that would not stay the case for very long. The investigation that followed uncovered significant evidence pointing to just one – somewhat unlikely, suspect.

Years later, even the seemingly indisputable proof became questionable, and misleading.
And theories of the crime, just kept appearing …

  1. Hey guys, hope you're having great Sunday! I wanted to pin a comment to mention that we tried something a bit different with this video. As you know we like to bring you new and interesting stories when we can, however one of the problems with unknown cases is that they can be lacking in visuals. In this video we've brought in some sketches of the key players to help fill in that gap, and make things easier to follow. One thing we try to avoid at all costs is including generic b-roll that is completely unrelated to the story…from your previous comments I can see that the majority of you agree with that decision as well 🙂

I'm interested to know what you think of these sketches though. Did this style work? Is there anything else you would recommend us trying to bring these less covered cases to life?

Thanks for being here guys, and enjoy the video!

  3. If you look at the cast of characters…….well, it looks like one of those "In them thar Hills" murders. Vonda knows, but too fat and small to do it.Her son….Mmmm. Yeah.

  4. I also think that Wanda is innocent. First of all why would she kill that woman so violently? If she wanted her dead could have just stubbed her from behind. Second she did not have signs of struggle afterwards. This is american justice for ya – just take someone and then fabricate everything

  5. Help me to understand. So they saying that most victims are killed in first couple of hours…. But they don’t take missing person report before 24 hours…….. where is the logics

  6. It's not just who else could have had access to Vonda's car. It's who had access to her car keys. She obviously didn't let two unknown men come into her house to take them, and who doesn't question those around you about who get the blood in your car? I can't speak to her level of involvement but she definitely was involved. I think Jessica was killed on or near Vonda's property. It's ludicrous to think she was killed elsewhere, then someone drove to get Vonda's car just to go back to transport the body.

  9. I already know it was her son. Court should of done due diligence and pressed her to confess. She couldn’t have done it, seeing she was no match for the victim. Key words the victim fought, it would of shown on the accused, a scratch and bruise something.

  10. It amazes me jury's will convict people on such a lack of evidence. It's BEYOND reasonable doubt for a reason. So many innocents behind bars in this country.

  11. To be honest i am GOBSMACKED she was found guilty, all there was was the blood in her car, there was SO MUCH evidence to prove reasonable doubt, im NOT saying she innocent just that there was MORE evidence for reasonable doubt than there was for her guilty verdict.
I think probably her son, but the DNA is very confusing, but maybe the killer had help and the DNA is a plant of some sort idk.
This women is guilty of something for sure, directly in the murder i dont think so, covering it up and even planning it… absolutely.
The lady who said the blood wasnt there when she came to pick her own child up needs to have her eyes checked or needs to learn to tell the truth, there is no way it couldnt have been there already.
This was a very interesting case, thank you Kevin, as always great work.

  12. 3:40 I really like the image of her mother that you use here. The filter makes it look like charcoal sketching, and it's very appropriate and somber and artistic. I love this channel.
