The most underrated Genshin character? Dori character review!

Dori might be one of the most underrated characters in Genshin.

She’s often listed as one of the worst, alongside others like Xinyan or Kaveh, and most people never even give her a second look. After all, who needs another electro healer when you already have Kuki? And of course, it doesn’t help that her looks and personality put a lot of people off.

I was somewhat guilty of this too. Until one day, almost as a joke, I brought my un-levelled Dori to a domain in coop. I was not prepared.

She surprised me so much that I dropped whatever I was planning and built her straight away. As a four star she might never be a top tier character, but she’s been far more useful in far more teams than I would have ever expected.

  1. at ar 60 i have a lot of freedom to what i can do, so i decided to build every character i own.

  2. For me she fills just the right niche, especially at C6. When playing furina in a hyperbloom team you need double hydro to maximize the bloom procs with nahihi which means your last slot has to be an electro team-wide healer

  3. Not going to lie I really want Dori on my main account but I'm saving to C6 my Venti and cannot risk pulling on any limited banner, I play a lot of hyperbloom on my main account but Kuki's Su*cidal healing makes me hate her with an undying passion. If I get Dori in when going for my 5 needed Venti cons then I will immediately be building her for Hyperbloom and replacing Kuki on my Alhaitham and Nahida Team

  4. got her c4 on latest banner, she's not bad imo, I tried to put her in team again after I got her c4, at low level she really awesome with Tighnari and she not really build yet, I can go full range fight with her in the team…

  5. I don't really have much to say except thank you! ❤ I think Dori brings a lot to the table, as a character to play and with her personality. Although I feel for Kaveh, it is nice to have an antagonistic character like her. And it's not an NPC who we never see again (much like some people's story quests). It gives much more depth to some parts of this game which doesn't often do dives into the darker sides of what's going on with people in Teyvat. Although we are moving in a direction that's promising.
I badly want to finish her build now but it'll probably take a while. Thank you for rekindling my appreciation for her and great work with the video 🥰

  6. I love my C6 Dori. Since in 5.2, Superconduct, Electro-charged, Overload and Shatter are getting a buff, Dori’s rainbow team is going to be useful, not forgetting that Dori uses claymore (can do shatter).

  7. I've been using her with Songs of Days Past with Archiac Petra Yun Jin – with Clorinde and Collei – and it feels very comfortable as a buffer-oriented comp. She can make use of these artifacts well…

  8. She's fine and just about as good as most four stars at low cons. At C0 most four stars (even the "good ones") are mediocre by design and really only capable of doing one thing at a time well. Her high healing output makes her great at her designated role and her skill is fine for a little bit of added electro application. And having a healer who can complete electro resonance in reaction teams is useful for both health and energy sustain.

I use her often as a slot filler for Navia and Raiden teams with good results, especially useful any time you need to break hydro shields. She also does good work with cast off gear nobody else wants like 2p/2p random ER / HB / HP pieces and a trash tier weapon like The Bell (which actually looks very nice on her). She's also functional as a healer even at level 70 with 1/6/6 talents which makes her a great cheap slot filler for Imaginary Theater.

  9. THANK YOU FOR THIS! I got Dori when i first started playing and used her for my earlygame overworld team simply because i really needed someone with a claimore for mining and also her being electro+heal was a nice side effect. Ever since then she was one of my main healers and now that i C6ed her, she is my hyperbloom Nuke!
I know that there are more meta teams around but her playstyle is just so much fun!

  10. I really do not get how people just get so negative with her , OK so she's a greedy merchant alright but still a lovable character and the back story is yet to be exploited for future story quest , actually like her antics , she's one of the more fun one to play with
