1. Many Biblical scholars believe BO Revelation was about then present-day Israel. They mostly agree what characters represent the Isrealites, Babylonians, Caesar, and other very signicant players.
2. Early Christians believed Jesus' second coming was imminent.
3. There are at least two reasons the story is so cryptic. a) To confuse those that oppose them. b) Like today, people enjoy outrageous stories.
4. It took centuries for the Church to make Revelation canonical because the hierarchy was split. Many other books were deemed unworthy.

He then expounded on these ideas to get the girl, to be in power and control over the group as well. I think that certain entities or secret societies speak to each other in code in local newspapers and probably other publications as well. And i think they use "secret combinations" of words and phrases and when particular combinations of words are found together on one page in the newspaper that combination will point to something else that comes as a result of that combination also appearing on that same page.
It's really weird how i came to this conclusion. It was after watching your secret combinations videos while i was researching malachite in old newspapers. I took screen shots of the old newspapers. I'll have to revisit them. I'm telling you it's crazy.
The scary thing is… there are many many more people that are in the LDS church that also believe in these fringe beliefs. In my opinion anyways. Look at what happened with Ruby Frankie and Jodi Hilldebrant. ruby believed her kids were evil and tortured them to "save" them.. because Jodi taught her about these ideas…not to mention her two middle daughters were found at Pam Bodtcher house,,who claimed she didn't know about the torture but was close enough with Jodi she Had to have known about the teachings and ideals ,, and The Bodtchers just so happens to live three houses down and across the street from Warwick. So much speculation. SO MUCH SPECULATION. Did Chad ever even know about this painting? Is there even a connection to it at all!? To even connect Chad Daybell's twisted warped lusts (not teachings) derived from a painting that Joseph Smith made a single comment on 200 years ago…is so far-fetched and out there. Based on this way of thinking, then if a zealot Catholic murders his wife, we can say the heinous crime originated from a painting a pope looked at 200 years ago?

Visions of Glory was every bit as important to what took place. The Book of Mormon played a role because they used VOG to find things that validated their beliefs within the Book of Mormon. I truly believe that without VOG there likely wouldn't have been Vallow/Daybell… or at least not the way it occurred

The reason the religious beliefs in the trials is because of the implications to freedom of religion. Religion is used to justify all sorts of bad things. It's only because most people interpret their doctrine in a socially acceptable way that it seems like a social good.
Joe Smith was a con man and Thom Harrison is culpable for his damaging book. The LDS Cult has not said anything about the teachings of this book. But Lori Vallow, Chad Daybell, Julie Rowe, Jody Hildebrandt, Ruby Franke, Tim Ballard are ALL connected to this warped book and its beliefs. 4 outta 6 are in jail and Tim Ballard should be charged with his crimes against women. Julie seems mentally unstable. Lots of people still reading Visions of Glory. IMO More people will die if they really buy into the premise of these teachings.

For clarity, that is NOT what the Book of Mormon teaches. The passage she is referencing is within the first 20 pages of the book though if you’re interested in reading what it actually says.
I definitely think their brains were warped by ideology. But I also believe they were not so far gone that they didn't logically know what they were doing.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not a cult.
The three flat rocks covering JJ could have been for a practical reason, to prevent animals digging up the body. But if they had meaning to Chad, the rocks would seem more related to the buried stone lid of the stone box in which Joseph Smith claimed to find the gold plates.
