  1. I think my current V is the most "me" character. Stealth, reflexes when caught – Sandervistan – just a throwing knife and a silenced pistol. Doesn't let Claire become just another killer. Makes Josh rethink about his choices and reasons behind them. That kind of V. And in the end, she will not go out in a blaze of glory. And she'll definitely not take the coward's way out. She'll live her last days in peace, putting things right and attempting to find a way to halt her condition.

  2. No Legacy of Kain? Literally one of the best franchises of all time with the deepest questions few can actually answer? Here's one from that world: "Given the choice whether to rule a corrupt and failing Empire or to challenge the fates through another throw, a better throw against one's desteny what was a king to do? But does one trully have a choice? One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate and thus defy the tyrannous stars". There are two questions there, in fact.

  7. I clicked because it seemed interesting, I saw Cyberpunk, and instantly gave a like.
I thin Cyberpunk does have a slightly deeper message though, which is that soulkiller does exactly what its name says. Even as an engram, you're not alive. It's why it's one of the worst things humanity has ever created, because they switch up your identity, deny you the right to die, and so much more, all while you're along for the ride like a marionette. V died when Dex shot her. There was no coming back from that. Cyberpunk, even more than Soma, made me question the meaning of life, and whether or not it's really the same if my consciousness was injected back into an identical body. On the surface, yes, but something about it… is soulless.

  8. This video really provoked thought for me. Though I would sacrifice my life without hesitation to save another family, i would sacrifice another family without hesitation to save my own. It's very grey area. Nier is my favorite game of all time.

'To defeat a monster, one must become a monster themselves. "

Edit: I never erased my save. This video made me realize it's time to and help my people.

  9. The question that Soma poses is one that humanity will have to figure out pretty soon here.
Whenever I see a science fiction story that says "uploaded their consciousness" to something, I automatically do not see that as the same person, but a whole new being that simply has the same memories and personality installed. Humans are strange, especially our brains. We have a memory, but we don't actually store memories in a bank like a hard drive in a computer. So how could we ever hope to TRANSFER our consciousness when we still don't have psychology or even medicine down to a completed science yet – it's all practice.

  10. I think theres a strange paradox to video games: they are both the best medium for art and the worst medium for art simultaniously. The best because there is almost no limit for the imagination of the creators and you can really make your audience live your art and take your time to bring your points across. On the other hand gameplay can really distract from the art and especially for AAA games its very hard to maintain a consistant vision because there are so many people and so much money involved.

For me some other great games like these are Disco Elysium, Bioshock (and Bioshick Infinte) and Fallout New Vegas.

  11. The suicide ending always breaks me down when its brought up. It was actually the first ending I ever landed on. I didnt even mean to but it felt like a representation of what was really going on in my head at the time. Hearing the anguish people felt over my actions still hurts even though none of them were real.
