  1. Fun fact: I actually set the hat weapon to be capable of dealing headshot damage/stun just like arrows, so you can headshot people by bonking them with it. Oh, and any character that has less than 10 INT can temporarily break the game with its stacking -1 INT for 10 seconds on hit, because at less than 1 INT, even bare fists' requirements will not be met. Why leave such a bug in, you might ask? Well, realistically, having below 1 IQ would cause you to struggle to use your hands correctly, so… consider it immersive.

I was also late to catch your stream where you tried the Blade of the Lords/Firelink Greatsword, but since you missed it then- you can actually change it between all five forms by pressing the two-hand button, then quickly pressing R1, R2, L1, L2, or nothing (not all in a row, just one of those five options per form) before the ''CLANG'' sound happens. Each form has its own moveset and weapon skill, the catalyst's is a stance that trades HP for FP.

  2. The mod : we provided you an amazing collection of weapons with some of the highest quality animations you will ever see

Prod: pick the helmet with one power attack and one attack animation

I appreciate all of fromsoftware games equally but Bloodborne is my fav

  3. That helmet is unironically amazing when you pair it with something to take advantage of how much stamina and poise damage it does, the thing is a stagger machine.

  4. One thing I really love Elden Ring for is how it encourages you to use the entire moveset of your weapon. R1, R2, jumping attacks, special abilities. And with stuff like the icicle rapier, even the R2+backstep move.
One big issue I always had with Dark Souls 3 was how R1 spamming was the way to go no matter what. Sure, you caaaan toss in some R2s… but in the vast majority of cases, why would you?

  5. I mean when I play Elden Ring I just do a specific road to my goal. Yes it's really big but you're not supposed to do everything even on a first playthrough. imo the scale means it's easier to take a break from a boss you're struggling. In Dark souls it's not really possible and you have to bash your head on a wall until it crumbles.
As for DS3 I dislike some of its boss and enemy designs, early game is a slog because every boss is a pushover that barely offer any resistance but you also dont have your build up there yet and when I get to a point where I get the build started I just get bored
