My favorite types are Fire and Electric. It's because they're the most fun elements in nature as they're the most alive in terms of their nature while water is the most living in reality. I'm sad to say that the Electric types are not the best designed in this gen. Not many of them are my faves.

If I’m not mistaken if you don’t want it to evolve you have to press X or Y (don’t remember) to cancel the evolution

Ice types are really neat, but I feel like they haven't gotten much love in recent generations
My favorite type is Poison not entirely sure but it always drew me in!
Fighting because I love the designs off all the Fighting type pokemon and they are all unique
I don't really have a favourite type nor favourite pokemon heracros is one of my favourite bug types.
My favorite is electric types. I can't really explain it, but I just really like electricity and the designs of electric types. Loved them since Red & Blue. They're great battlers, have only one weakness, and are one of the rarer types. My favorite heroes are electricity users, I love lightning powers in anime and games, etc. Electric types are my thing.

I think I'm a fan of both electric and water types. I had this luxray that I started off with in platinum and she carried my whole team through mostly everything (except for ground) and plus there's a lot of favorite pokemon that fall under those types
Personally I thought it was weirder you could just walk up in someones house to begin with
Caught my first shiny (Magikarp) of the game on that wiglett beach! So dope starting off the game with a shiny even if red Gyarados is the most common shiny ever.
