Toki Tori 2 Part 1 – recently, people have been using ‘Metroidbrania’ to describe a type of game where you don’t level up your character, but level up your brain. It refers to open world puzzle games that give you MUCH more freedom than you realize. There’s very few games like this, but they’re all incredible. Released in 2013, I believe Toki Tori 2 is the first ever Metroidbrainia. Let’s see why puzzle fans love it!

Using the path of exile passive tree for the "level up your brain" probably isn't the best idea. You tend to lose more grey matter than you gain trying to understand it.
Omigosh this game is such an underrated gem! I played this when I was younger. Literally one of my first video games!
