  1. You'd do great in contemporary music performance, I'm an old dude who completed my music performance degree in my mid 40s, I've seen you perform on YouTube, and being home schooled you have the skills necessary to complete independent assignment work. I loved the opportunity to get playing music with lots of young people closer to my kids ages than my own, brought this old man right up to date with modern music.

  2. Nevaeh, Having a goal is a great road to navigate, but if a detour is on your journey that sometimes ends up being your destination. I guess I am saying yes, it is important to have a goal but keeps you eyes open to paths that may bring you to your final career.

  3. Hope you aced the drivers test. As for college, I learnt three things that gave me a better understanding about school, Focus, Friendship and Fun. For without any of these three nothing can be accomplished. Merry Xmas.

  4. Online College Courses if your not sure to go out of your comfort zone right now. Check into it. Now a days High Schools offer College Courses when your a Sophomore my nephew Graduated at 17 with 2 years of College under his belt as soon as he Graduated in May last year he started going to the University in Texas he's ahead of other Students. My brother sent him to Driving School he got his permit now he's driving with a Under 21 Driver's License. I'm very proud of his accomplishments being he's now doing so much to further himself. You'll do great just take it slow and don't stress out.

  6. Nevaeh, your so eloquent on the phone. My daughter hates having to make these kinds of phone calls. To book appointments and even to order take out. She’s fine talking to strangers face to face. Just phone shy 😬😃
Good luck with you theory test.

  7. We can't see what goes on in private, but you seem like the perfect example of what a well behaved properly raised teenager should be like. Whatever you decide to do later in life, I am sure you will excel at it. I hope it has something to do with music 😁😊 Love and God Bless. 🤗💖🙏

  8. Wow the rules are so different from state to state on getting your license. Here in NY there is only 1 written test for your permit. Then driving road test for license. Cheering for you! Also glad to see you back on you tube. ❤

  10. Hope you realize how blessed you are to have two hard working parents that really love all you children and went WAY BEYOND to give you a wonderful house and environment to grow up in.

You talk about the "Most Important Decision I've Ever Had to Make" The Most Important decision you will make is: what will you do with JESUS CHRIST as this decision has ETERNAL ramifications. Once you invite Him into your heart to save you, He will tell you what is GOD's plan for your life.

Boy, at the 4 min mark, Mom really displayed a very ugly face, wow!

  11. You’ve got good parents. you’re staring you in the right direction and you’re a smart kid. You obviously like music but whether it’s sports or music you may not always be able to get what you want so if you really love the music or sports or anything else diversify in that field and Learn to do what you want to do but also learn to work around that so if you have to go punch a clock to pay the bills you’re at least around something you love. I went into computers because it seemed like a good place to go and it’s been an OK career but I don’t enjoy it and I regret it I wanted to be a mechanic can do auto design and performance parts but instead I got into computers and it’s OK but I don’t spend my life doing what I want. So if you want to get in music learn to do the technical stuff how to run the sound equipment how to manage the business side of it and everything around that because you may have to spend a decade pursuing your dreams but it’s a lot more pleasant to pursue that while you’re working in that industry.

Also don’t put all your eggs in one basket, you’re doing something smart getting out there and exploring your options and diversified you don’t have to be in love with one thing in life and you don’t have to pigeonhole yourself and you don’t have to limit yourself to the path everybody’s told where you just have to go to college and get a degree and go get a job at using that college degree. When I was going to Tech school they were guys who loved doing computers and networking and we had kids who are 17 we’re going to be graduating high school with the same certifications we got because they went to night school three nights a week and they were walking out of high school making pretty close to six figures a year because they went to tech school I have a lot of friends that chose to be Welters instead of going to college and they’re making huge amounts of money, some over $200,000 a year for 25 years old doing something they love. Schools teach you to be a good little taxpayer and work a 9 to 5 but you are intelligent and talented and it gives you better options and you have smart supportive parents and an example because they’ve done the YouTube thing and broke out of that mold and created what looks to be a pretty amazing life. Just think about it and as you’re dreaming try to really understand how these things do you want to do really work how the business and functions are they make their money all day write their contracts how they manage the rights and royalties of their music or art and everything it takes From a business standpoint or a career standpoint so you’ll have the best understanding of what you’re getting into and give yourself other options. When I was 16 1718 years old, I play guitar I was going to be a rockstar and there was no other option but it’s one in 10 million people that get those jobs and eventually I had to start doing other things and start learning them when I was in my 20s and then in my 30s. You have an opportunity now that you’ll never have again that’s to explore these things why are you don’t have to support yourself and make a living and if you do it smart by the time you’re out on your own you’ll have some options that you can tolerate it might actually be enjoyable for you. Most of us don’t get that opportunity we start working and most people work to pay the bills and have to figure it out as they’re fumbling along through life. We all wish we could go back to when we were 16 and take that time to make some good decisions and figure some things out And make some plans and prepare ourselves for what was coming. You’re smart I think you’ll do great
