  1. I used to wish I could play Majoras Mask for the first time all over again. This series at least gets me close to that feeling learning new things about the game. Thanks for making these great videos!

  2. Probably more of a bragging point, but on the 3ds version, i remember doing a self imposed challenge of trying to beat all the bosses as fierce deity link, and i don't remember how it went but i remember beating twinmold as it

  4. I read an article the other year that said the stars in the sky in Majora's Mask are different depending on the name on your save file. I don't think you've mentioned this, but you post so many pieces of information that my brain can't hold all of it!

  5. That is adorable that Kotake is standing on a Box XD

Neat that the Japanese Had more instances of Wall Skulltulas and You had to fight them cleverly because at that time you didn't have the Hero's Bow yet.

Didn't know that The Twinmold being vulnerable to Ice and Fire arrows or The Bombchu Puzzle Skip

Everything else I knew from playing the game and yeah it's great attention to details

  6. The twinmold thing is what we do in Glitchless speedruns as we have Kokori Sword making Giant's mask extremely slow. Plus with single magic, giants mask resource management with low damage is a pain. We end up just skipping the chest entirely, haha. The hitbox is indeed wonky as the hitbox is only the inside diamond, not the entire tail, so it tends to feel like you shot right through it. Instead of 4 of each elemental type, however, we mix in regular arrow shots as 3 elemental + 1 normal shot is enough to kill. That way, with single magic, we should have plenty of shots for both twinmolds (although, I imagine top tier runners just don't miss their shots and they may be able to skip the normal bow shots, haha). For any inaccuracies, I must apologize, haven't ran the game since like 2017

  7. I like how the tower in Clock Town ties in with the plot. They were supposed to build a bridge to the clock tower but the carpenters all ran off, which is why you need to do the whole moon tear trade quest. The boss is still there on the 3rd night, and he has different dialogue for the different Link transformations.

  8. the stuff in the human trial's actually unintentional, they accidentally had the "has spawned fairy" flag for the gossip stones (which is meant to stop the player from farming fairies off of gossip stones) to the same bit as the flags for ladder and door bars. if you do the puzzles normally and go back and try to get the fairies from the gossip stones nothing will happen.

  9. Back again! I’ll just keep adding this until hopefully you see it and put it in a future video:

During the fight with Majora’s Mask, when you get to Majora’s Wrath, if you do enough damage for it to start attacking you with the lasso tentacles, change into Deku Link. Because Deku Link is small and light, when Majora’s Wrath throws you over its shoulder, you can actually fly across the entire arena. If aimed just right, you can get it to throw you into the alcove where Majora’s Mask is stuck to the wall at the very beginning of the fight. This makes it nearly impossible for Majora to hit you. This is only doable in the N64 version. On 3DS they patched it and there’s an invisible barrier over the alcove.

  10. Anyone know why the gossip stone trick works? I thought the vid was going to explain, probably will next video. Maybe the same trick works somewhere else and it'll be explained then

  11. I didn't know that Twinmold was defeatable by any means other than the Giant mask! That's neat.
And I knew that there were drops in the game, but I had no idea that they were so detailed! That's also neat.
