The life-saving drug that only the super-rich can afford….
We’ve all heard the expression “worth its weight in gold”. The materials on this list, though, will make gold look like grains of sand.

There is no way in hell it cost that much to make Zolgensma. That is just wrong on some many levels to charge that much for any medicine.
Actually gas station beef jerky is the most expensive item on the planet earth.
I love the fact that Simon includes a weird pronunciation in every video. Are these easter eggs I wonder? In this case Tanzania.
Hold.
I think I have a taffeite gemstone.
It has the chemical composition you mentioned.
0:48, Simon, I think you mean Aluminium…
Dude, there is a hint of a swastika in your transition image. The angles of the animated bars and their proportions are reminiscent of symbols from the 3rd Reich. Is this intentional?
The thing I find interesting is the fact that several gun manufacturers use Tritium on the sights, and if it's not harmful… why is there a radiation warning symbol in the gun case? At least here in the States there is.
So Zolgensma is just extortion, because it could easily be made cheaper for the benefit of humanity.
As someone who watched a ton of the Dark History Channel and only recently came across Simon and all his channels I have to say that I enjoy Simon's videos 10,000% more and wish teachers had been more like Simon when I was in school….
So Simon can fix his sign with tritium
06:43 – Looks exactly like a gummy edible.
Bananas cause some serious anti-matter reactions in my lower digestive tract.
Tritium:
As a "Federally registered Nuclear radiation worker" In Canada, I have witnessed personally, Ontario Hydro workers, using tiny suction bottles picking up Tritium out of cracks in the concrete after a spill …
So taaffeite is the new Bitcoin, you say?
Invest now in taaffeite, you say?
Where can I find an alter to make an offer to the ALL MIGHTY SIMON and hopefully he may deem me worthy of this completely pointless keyboard bashing comment.
Pretty sure my car is made of antimatter, every time I go near it, something explodes.
Yes, it’s an Alfa
My guy legit lookin like Bargain bin Michael Stevens
I love your digs at De Beers. Both of my parents worked for them, and my father was actually responsible for wiring and installing a lot of the diamond presses. My mom was a safe administrator, and handled the diamonds made in those very same presses. I'm really glad I've found your videos about De Beers and diamonds in general as it's shown me the truth about a company that has literally shaped part of my life, nevermind the entire country I live in.
I had no idea gems were referred to as species.
That life saving drug, for that price. for INFANTS, is utterly despicable.
Simon you’ve done it again! Another great video. Thank you!
Zolgensma is covered in Poland too. They recently added it to funded list.
I’m rebranding diamonds as coal crystals.
"The life-saving drug that only the super-rich can afford…."… are we talking about insulin in America?
Funny how the demon core photobombed this video ;D
Another great video from the hardest working man on the internet!!
I don't think mineral have species, though that was only animals??
Tritium was used for dial illumination on the new (then) UK 'Trimphone' telephones in the early nineteen seventies.
Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today
We've made antimatter! Let's blast a hamster with it and see if it cures cancer
The batteries last 90 min on exist signs. And should be replaced about every two years. You can test them with a button by the little green or red led on the side or bottom.
"oh my God! I was feeding my baby a banana and she exploded!"
material = matter…
could be (badly) argued that anti-matter is not a material
i have seen a number of lists like this in the past. most (imo) cheat and include some sort of artifact, or art. this video however felt true to the premise all the way through. also others often say something and dont give any estimated value.
strangely, i think anti-matter was the only thing i was expecting. everything else came as a surprise. although even with anti-matter i learnt something new here. thank you for a great video!
zolgensma is also covered in Australia 🙂 apparently It only costs $42.50 (with the rest covered), or $6.80 for people with concession cards.

10:59 That's why Doc Brown put's bananas in his DeLorien!
5:30 Since when has the law been a deterrent to someone planning on shooting up a school? Blowing up not only the school but the town or a huge chunk of the city it's located in as well is just a bonus.
8:08 Why state that obvious fact? Let morons in the audience with more money than brains take that as financial advice and then lose their shirts, then they would know your "advice" sucks and never repeat that mistake.
8:40 I wouldn't say any parent, you have way too much faith in humanity. It's far cheaper to just let it die and start over and try again, a pregnancy and raising a kid to a year old while waiting for it to die only costs about 1% as much, about $21k.
Actually Zolgensma was the most expensive drug until august 17 2022… look for Zynteglo
